I initially borrowed $34k last year for a project, and I was impressed with the speed, and efficiency when I noticed the deposit in my checking account within a few days. I received several push messages to obtain a second loan for home project this year (I had paid off the first loan); $20K was approved, and a deposit was in my checking account in a few days without difficulty. Only emails were exchanged. I thought that credit unions were the only trust worthy institutions for short term loans. Best Egg has them beat!

Most places wouldn’t just deposit the funds into your bank account. Only a small percentage. Best Egg was super accommodating and it was no problem for them to direct deposit directly into my checking account so I could disburse the funds the way I wanted. The person that helped me was ver professional, easy to work with, no pressure and took care of my requests and needs all while taking the time to explain in details questions I was asking. A 2-3 day process for funds only took 24 hours before they were in my account. Seriously a simple and easy, stress free transaction. Great loan terms and a rate I a, happy with. A++++++++ rating. I will use them again in the future if ever needed for sure!

Super easy borrowing process -- all details are easy-to-understand, fast deposit. Feeling very fortunate to have paid off my credit cards so I can see where money is coming and going, and also having lower interest rates with Best Egg versus credit card companies. I especially like that there are no penalties for paying the loan off early, which I will do.

I applied for a modest loan of eight thousand for debt consolidation. Best egg approved and then called me on the phone to tell me that my offer was changed. The "new offer" had a higher interest rate and higher monthly payments. They also pulled a cheap move by reducing the loan amount by seven dollars compared to what I qualified for. They have bad customer service and people should not apply for loans with them.

The customer service representative I spoke with was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. The funding was quick and well within my budget. I was able to payoff multiple high interest cards and now have one low interest payment. This Company scores very high on my list of lenders.

They have limited loan options and terms. In addition they also change the offer that you qualify for. They do this by calling your phone after you have been approved for a loan. They tried to reel me in by approving me for an offer after a hard inquiry and then taking it back over the phone, only to give me a higher interest charge. They put hard inquiries on your credit report and also lie to customers.

My Best Egg loan has help greatly towards consolidating other high interest loans. The application process was nearly effortless and within seconds I received notification of approval, loan amount and terms. Funds was deposited into my account in less than a a few hours. It is a Hugh sigh of relief - Go Best Egg!!

Best egg has poor customer service and modify offers which customer initially qualifies for. I was approved for a loan for debt consolidation and they changed the terms after approval and hiked up the interest rate. I have never been denied a loan or credit card. This company does not have customer friendly policies.

The process is simple and I actually was surprised I got approved, wasn’t what I requested but was enough to help, my only complaint would be the high fee charged. I almost didn’t take loan because of it, but I chalked it up to cost of restructuring my debt. If it wasn’t for the high fee charged I would rate the service 5 star, so just be aware it is a bit expensive to get loan. But everything else went smoothly

They gave me a loan and I paid it on time every time. I got 6700 off a 7200 loan. I’ve only had the loan for 5 months. Go to try and pay it off, and it’s right back at 6700. Then no one can help and they can never get in touch with management. BEST EGG FINANCIAL SUCKS BIG TIME AND ARE CROOKS. Don’t do business there.

Best Egg is guick and offers small loans that are easier to pay off. I appreciate being able to speak to real people. I also like that there is no penalty for early payoff. We had an emergency that was not covered by current savings due to covid. So Best Egg was very helpful

I knew better, I really did... but I got one of those too good to be true mailers and decided to visit the site. My credit isn't even bad and my "approval" looked nothing like the pre-approval they sent to me... To be honest I wasn't expecting it to but the offer was abysmal and would have actually hurt any consolation efforts, my credit card interest rates were actually lower. Oh and when you get that pre approval in the mail that says to just enter your personal offer code... Yeah that's not all they want. They want employer name, your email, phone number, income and household income... don't worry they already have your address through the code they sent you in the mail. The customer service rep that calls you just minutes after you submit the application is nice though.

I applied for a small personal loan and was approved HOWEVER they changed the APR by 5% after approval. I ended up keeping my same lower monthly payment but the interest on this loan is a scam! It is still beneficial for me to have the loan for what I am doing, but I wouldn’t advise someone to use this company in the future.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS "LENDER"!

So, evidently making 90,000 a year is not good enough for a 15,000 loan. One reason they gave is lack of mortgage payment history. I own outright, no mortgage. It even let me select that answer. I selected a 3 year term and when it processed it switched it to a 5 year term with higher interest rates. The person I spoke with was helpful and tried to fix it. Unfortunately I took a hit to my credit score, cancelled my loan due to the term and higher interest rates, and they had no reason why the auto approve auto changed my loan from a 3 year term to a 5 year term. I would avoid Best Egg for personal loans.

Got a letter in the mail claiming rates "as low as 4.99%" on unsecured personal loans up to $50K. So I applied, mind you I have an 804 Credit score, substantial income, and long stable job history. They came at me with a 20% interest rate. I was furious. I knew that 4.99% was the lowest possible rate, and I knew it would likely be higher, but my credit cards have a better interest rate than what they just offered. I gave them a hard NO, but they still keep calling daily to try and get me to take their loan. Just leave me alone.

They sent us a denial letter without our approval of running anything. We were shopping rates. We never went to their website. The first communication we received from them was a denial notice. When we tried to find out why and if there was any way to change the parameters of the loan we were told we would have to wait 30 days. It's all automated. Don't expect anyone to be helpful if you have an odd situation. There are no loan officers, that's what I was told by their customer service. It's all automated. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

This company has sent me so many emails and letters in the mail telling me I qualify for a loan it borders on harassment. I finally decided take out a small $3,000 loan and not only did they deny me with a credit score of 700 but it also was a hard inquiry on my credit report even though they claim it doesn't effect your credit score to look at your rates. This company is downright criminal!

Spoke with an agent that lacked proper communication skills and as a result cancelled my application. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes best egg wanted to start the entire process over again. Not worth the struggle.

I left it earlier review given them six stars if I was able to on the fast easy friendly way they were to obtain a loan over many of the other hard lenders. I received a $17,500 loan at almost 20% seen as after a horrible divorce you have no options but this I took it, and don’t get me wrong I was very happy with it. Fast forward 3 years, because that’s all it took for me to pay this loan off, NO I didn’t take the four yeah option. Now correct me if I’m wrong, the past three years we’ve faced problems of unheard of in the past 100 years…. So sadly I have one payment left and needed another loan from Best Egg. Filling out the initial soft pull credit pull so they can give you a quick offer, came back with the we are sorry we cannot offer you anything at this time, whereas I decided to call and find out why after paying them over $10,000 in interest. As usual the wait time was fast and a very sweet young lady answered the phone very confused I asked her why were they not able to offer me anything at this time, she turns around and says you were late on three payments by a couple days, yes a couple days. No more than a week, one or two of them might’ve been a day or two. Now remember where in pandemic times nothing like this since the Spanish flu of 1918 has ever been seen and see Nasa was late and late not buy a month or not by two weeks that’s the treatment I get from best egg after taking the shortest loan and still making payments to a pandemic. I would stay away from this company as far as far as you can. I know everyone’s in it for the money, but times like this when you lost nothing you got hurt none try and look in the mirror how pathetic. I might have misspoke some being upset and using talk to text, except my apologies now and I hope this helps someone, anyone, everyone.

I then went on to the application part, that was what I expected. After all that-they denied me. No lie, my credit score is above 800 and my credit card balance was my only revolving debt. I was denied! I then went on to Best Egg thinking I would be denied again, maybe these companies were a bunch B.S., but I proceeded with the online application. From beginning to end of the application and approval process was easy and efficient. I was approved. Best Egg provided several options and I selected the one that fit my goal and set-up automatic monthly payment. Easy peasy, I never think about making my monthly payment, Best Egg does email you a payment reminder is upcoming, so if you need to transfer funds or make a deposit before the payment is processed, you won't take a hit with over-draft or late payment. I have been very satisfied with my experience with Best Egg, I do and have recommended them.

Best egg is misleading and difficult to work with. I was approved for an offer and they modified the offer only to give me a higher interest rate. They pulled my credit and then called me to give a bad offer instead of what I was approved for intially. I recommend not doing business with them.

IF you are looking for a loan, this is your best finance company to begin with and definitely the fairest. My experience with Best Egg Personal Loans has been absolutely fantastic. And in the future if I need any funding, they will be my first call.

When I stopped to give it some thought, I received a courteous phone call from one of their reps, who answered all my questions...ie, Simple Interest Loan, no pre-payment penalty. Sure, it is a "legit" business. Bait and Switch, is the company tactic. Reel people in with endless junk mail, where they would have naturally never given it a thought to try in the first place, then corner people into taking a fraction of the loan amount in which they were already shown to be approved for and at a much higher rate, after hard pulling their credit. Companies like these are crooks and should be dealt with immediately.

Atrocious interest rate. Was going to pay off a debt and a credit card. Declined and now they call me every few days wanting me to accept. Told them what an acceptable rate would be they tell me thanks for considering them and hang up. Only to call again won’t eh exact same spiel.

I could not believe how easy and efficient getting this loan was. It was minutes and funded within the next day. I actually had a "live" person contact me while completing the loan application to ensure that I answer the questions accurately. She stepped me through the process until the loan was approved. AMAZING!

They sent me dozens of emails and letters claiming I was approved for a loan. Went online and filled out the application, was informed that I needed to send in 2 years of tax returns. They used a pandemic year tax return to verify income. (Of course no one would qualify). I didn’t qualify for what I asked for. But they offered me 65% less. Pretty hard to expand a business with 65% of projected funding. I’ve done business with this company before. Paid on time, never late. I guess being loyal to a company doesn’t get you anywhere. Will never do business with them again.
