This company was a great experience. I called 3 other companies first about a leak I had in my roof and everyone was a week or two, Carolina was able to see me in two days. They sent a man by the name of Brad out ( most professional contractor I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with ), he was very nice and took his time with me. He evaluated my roof inside and out and came to the conclusion it was past repair and I needed a replacement. Needless to say I didn’t have it budgeted so he was able to help me get financing. Well it’s been almost 30 days and it looks great and no more leaks!

My 10 uear old roof just started leaking. I called 8 companies and everyone have me the run around. I finally called Carolina home specialists and the lady that answered the phone was very helpful and informative. They advised me of a $79 service call, so at first I was very apprehensive, but agree to it. So the next day a gentleman by the name of Brad came out and diagnosed the issues and had it resolved with in 2 days. I highly recommend this company!

I could not be more pleased with my experience with Carolina Home Specialists. From the first phone call to them to the end of the job. Absolutely fantastic! I had the privilege of dealing with Brad. He explained everything thoroughly and took his time to make sure I understood every detail. I dare say he went above and beyond at every junction. His crew was professional and friendly. You could tell they took great pride in the work they do. Before they left my home everything was picked up and clean. I highly recommend Carolina Home Specialists.

After my first review, I was contacted multiple times by several different people from the business including the owner. I was asked to allow them to make good. Though I hesitated I am a man of second chances. Tim contacted me, wanted me to remind him of the job so he could make sure he was quoting the right thing. I did and he sent me a message quote. I ended up allowing them to the do the work not because they were the cheapest but because of the explanation of what needed to be done and how they would do it. The main issue was that I had some leaks and needed some roof repair. I also asked for some gutter guards as well. I was given a date and they showed up promptly. The main guy on site was great and kept me informed of the process. A second crew came to do the gutter guards and they do did a good job and was very quick also. During the roof repair, as the guys were walking, a couple planks were busted which caused more leaks. There was no way the crew would have known this at the time but when I realized it I called Tim back and he scheduled a time to have the crew return. Again they showed up promptly, repaired those areas and was gone in a very quick time. 1st Review- I was supposed to receive two quotes from this company. One for commercial and one for residential. The original set up was the estimator (Tim) would meet me at my residence, get what he needed and the we would go to the commercial property and he would do what he needed to there. When he called, he was closer to the commercial property so I suggested meeting him there first and his persona on the phone let me know that he had no clue we were quoting two jobs. He was very nice and agreed to meet me there. As we met and discussed the need, he seemed very rushed. Come to find out he had another quote to do and a plane to catch after that. I explained the job, showed him pictures but he never went inside or checked out the actual area needing repair. Afterwards we went to my home. Here he did a more thorough inspection and stated he send me quote within 48 hours for both jobs. After 72 hours, I reached out to Tim because I hadn't heard anything and the commercial job was something urgently needed. He told me on two communications that he was working on it and he would have it soon. When I finally got the quote, the price was nearly 8 times what it was quoted by another company. So I passed. As for the residential quote, he told me again I would have it within 48 hours. Well, it's been 2 weeks and I am still waiting... They get two stars only because Tim was nice. I would not recommend this company.

I had a huge limb hit the roof and had a couple leaks that needed fixing. They came out and assessed the damage and worked directly with my insurance adjuster to work out the details for a new roof. Very friendly team to work with and 100% customer focused so if there was any issues they fixed it right away. I've done home repair work in the past myself, so I know these jobs will always need some adjustments and cleanups and CHS took care of the repairs and cleanup to my satisfaction. Its nice to see a company stand behind their work and not try to scam the homeowner as that is becoming a rare quality these days. I would definitely recommend CHS and will look to them for any future repairs.

This company stands out head and shoulders above everyone else. I have had 5 other companies come out to my house and no one was as detailed and professional as Brad with Carolina Home Specialists. From calling on the way to the appointment to explaining every step of the process, to helping me with securing funding to help me pay for my new roof. I am happy to give them my business! Final note, they seemed to care, everyone else seemed rushed and just there to sell me something!

Tim and his people did a great job. I had my roof redone and I can't tell you how much ,Tim and his people made it quick and painless. I was really pleased by the clean up after the fact...very professional and very personable people. If your planning on getting a roof repair, or any service they provide I highly recommend that you use Carolina home specialist....Ty you Carolina home specialist .

In 2022, we discovered in a recent home inspection that a section of siding had been damaged by the crew who installed our roof (see our raving review below). The damage was significant but only visible from a not normally accessed/viewable area of the roof. The damage was the result of removal of the old roof. It was also concealed from us. In the interest of fair treatment, we contacted CHS and shared the information with them. They admitted the siding damage was caused by the roofing team, but they said they would not cover the cost of repair even though the damage was clearly caused by their work. When we asked the owner if he would accept the same treatment if it was his home, he said he would not. But he further continued to decline responsibility for repairing it. Unfortunately, we have to rescind our positive review of CHS from two years ago. Our home has been damaged by their negligence, and the damage was not revealed to us. Now we have to bear this expense out of pocket. Word from the now wise - if you work with CHS - check their work before they leave. Look under every shingle. Leave no flashing left unturned because once they leave, you're on your own. Disappointing... In 2020 we posted: Other roofers in Greensboro area pay attention to Carolina Home Specialists!! We had tried contacting 6 other roofers in the Greensboro area to help us. We left messages and either did not get a call back or were told they were too busy to take new customers. There loss. Tim and his team were the utmost professional. They came out and assessed our needs. After thoroughly inspecting our roof, they didn't try to scam us by telling us we had hail damage or storm damage like other roofers did to many of our neighbors. They gave us an honest estimate of damages and the cost to fix. We first thought we would only repair the damaged sections of our roof, but Tim made us a competitive offer to replace the entire roof. His team was easy to schedule, easy with whom to work and responsive to our needs. When the workers damaged some of our landscaping, Tim said, "We'll make it right." And, he did. We're completely satisfied, and we will work with Tim and his team again. I had been putting off repairing my flat roof for a long time, thinking that it would be too expensive and complicated. The professionals at Carolina Home Specialists made it beyond easy! They assisted me with financing and were accommodating to scheduling the services when it was convenient for my family. The workers were prompt and courteous. I was impressed with how quickly Brad and his team completed the job. I feel blessed to have had this team hold my hand through what I thought would be too much for me to handle. They made it possible to get this off my TO DO list! I would highly recommend Carolina Home Specialists to anyone that is feeling hesitant to tackling their home improvement project!

I spoke with Christi to set up an appointment to get an estimate to replace the siding on our house and 10 windows. She asked about my wife and wanted all of her personal information which I felt was very inappropriate. I explained to her that I do home renovations for a living and she's not involved in the decision making of my personal business and would not want to be involved. She has her own business. Christi then explained to me that she needed to really reach out to the project manager and the owner to see if that would be allowed. I asked her why would it not be allowed for me to make a decision on my own business on whether to get siding or windows for my rental property. She explained to me that it's a very big decision and I really needed my wife there. This is the same kind of sales pitch I get from timeshare companies and would expect better from a local siding and window company. I don't think Christi or this company has any right to state whether I need to have my wife there to help me make decisions about my company which she is not involved. My wife has her own business and she said that she can't imagine someone telling her that her husband would have to be there to help her make the decision. That is downright offensive and the only thing that makes sense for why they would insist the wife being there is some sort of high pressure timeshare sales pitch. Be warned.

Chris with Carolina Home Specialists was great. Went above and beyond to fix my roof leak. He diagnosed the issue and explained exactly what needed to be done and was back the next morning to make the repairs. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone having roofing issues.

My daughter met with Elliott as I was unable to leave work as planned. She was very impressed with him. Elliott was extremely polite and knowledgeable, easy to talk to. My daughter was pleased with the results of the meeting and will be having this company install our new roof.

Awesome team of specialists. First day I requested a quote online I received a phone call from the company that afternoon to set up an appointment. Brad McCauley, Sales Consultant came out within the week, spent time accessing my roofing needs, discussed my options ( got to know Gabriel, the Great Dane ) and gave me a quote that day. Much more than I had received from any other company. The roofing project took a few weeks due to extent of damage I had, but I was kept well informed and updated at all times. Each and everyone of the crew that was involved in my roofing project was top notch!!! Looking forward to working with this company again in 2020 for more housing projects!!
