They have some nice cars there, most with lower milage, and at a lot better price than a regular dealership. As with any where else test drive, ask questions, make sure any requests are done, bring a mechanic with you or bring it to your mechanic on your test drive if you question their work. They're straightforward on why the vehicle is there and what work they have done to it. Bought my truck in March 2021, it's a 2020 with less than 3k on it!! It has a salvage title with some hail and water damage. I had gone there several times to see what was in their inventory. Vehicles get purchased quickly so if you want it or like it put the standard $300 down. I was told the truck was ready to go right away, however I did have to return it for them to get the glass out of the back seat, door trim, and behind the cab. They also needed to strip the interior and dry it out since the mildew smell was getting worse and I checked under the floor, it was almost dripping wet. I was given a loaner for the week it took them to clean and dry the truck. After that it has been a great vehicle! At almost a year afterwards and 18k miles I did bring it back due to an odd vibration, which ended up just me driving too slow when it was switching from Eco to Regular. The mechanic also noticed my front passenger seat belt was messed up, my large dog chewed through it, and offered to fix it for me at cost; which I gladly accepted! I will definitely purchase another vehicle from East Side, probably in a few years when my son is old enough to dry.

If you are looking to save money and don't mind a salvage title check out East Side Auto. They have good selection of vehicles at different price ranges. Great place to find a starter car for a new driver.

This place is amazing! The people are beyond nice and helpful! The prices can’t be beat!! They got the vehicle I was looking at restored right away and it looks amazing. Their communication with keeping me up to date on everything couldn’t be better; It was fast and easy which is always nice. Definitely recommend visiting them if looking for a car!

I recommend East Side Auto to anyone I know looking to buy a new car. I got my first car from them many, many moons ago in college and I just purchased my 3rd car from them this week. They are great to work with and super helpful with the specifying buying needs I had.

Very nice staff. Fair pricing and good estimations on when car will be ready. That being said, it took two week for them to “detail” my car and fix things up. First of all I noticed the sunroof was not always working while on my test drive and mentioned that to the staff, assuming that would be something they would fix during the two weeks. Completely ignored the sunroof and does not work at all now. The detail should be called “we payed my little brother to vacuum and wipe down the dash.” There is still shattered glass fragments in the rear window, trunk, seat pockets, and door compartments. Interior windows were not cleaned at all. Still a lot of glue/gunk on the outside of the windows that is difficult to remove. If they tell you it’ll be two weeks before it’s ready it’s not worth waiting. They just replaced the battery and required the key. Very disappointed I had to wait that long for very minimal effort.

Came with some electrical problems I ran into after purchasing a car. The crew was super helpful and fixed all the problems. Was worried about waiting here but the couches are comfortable and with wifi, Allowing me to get others things done, like writing this review. They didn't have me wait anymore than 1 to 2 mins

Excellent service, the folks at the sales office were great and Nathan helped me get my car quicker because I was in a bind. Lots of good gems here if you're willing to look and wait a day or so. They have all levels And varieties of vehicles. Put in a little patience and you'll find a real jewel here.

We have had good luck here. We just purchased the 2nd vehicle from here for my husband. First bought a cobalt about 6 years ago with a salvage title (hail damage). He drove it from 6 years and now that we have a baby, we upgraded to an SUV (also salvage with hail damage). I love their no pressure to buy. You walk around the lot without anyone really talking to you. But the guys will get a key or two out when you ask so you can test drive the car.

Me and my family have bought three different cars from this seller. Every single one has been absolutely amazing. All of their cars go through state inspections which makes the buying process a little longer but very worth it. Customer service is astounding as well! I will continue buying cars from here as I need.

Bought a car at East Side Auto about a year ago and so far no problems. Good value, good price. Also, transacting the car sale was by far the easiest one I had ever done. Great support staff. I really took the time to scrutinize the car inside and out, top to bottom. (I was under the car a couple times looking things over). Customers have to remember these cars were previously compromised in some way before they purchased and restored them. I think they did a good job restoring the one I bought but if you are an idiot about cars and don't know what to look for, you may want to try other places or bring someone with you who really knows what to look for. Paul, my sales guy, was forthright in answering questions. Before buying this car I drove other cars and on some he wanted my opinion in case anything needed to get checked out. Seemed like he was looking out for customers 'cause he wanted them to have a good experience. I don't think you should expect that from everyone; although, all the staff seemed to be genuinely friendly and helpful, but that is why I say if you haven't taken the time to educate and understand what to look for bring someone with you that does to help ensure you have a good experience too.

I bought a car here back in 2018 and forgot to leave a review. I had a great experience and the car I purchased has since had no major issues and has run beautifully.

Stopped in quick on a Saturday afternoon to take a peek at their inventory. It was a really pleasant experience. You are able to freely browse the lot and test drive the vehicles. They specialize in salvage title cars, typically hail damage so as long as you are ok with the salvage title there are some decent deals here. Worth checking out if you want a newer vehicle and are willing to sacrifice some exterior damage for a better price. We didn't buy a car from them so I can't comment in that regard but I think we will probably be stopping back for another look.

This a great place to buy a car. Some titles are marked salvage but these guys don't sell you junk. They stand behind the cars they sell. Highly recommend looking for sure. Late models, low miles, and decent looking vehicles. I've purchased 2 cars there in the last 10 years, been great vehicles.

First we want to thank the team specially Kirsten, Jason and Nathan. We have bought Nissan from the East Side Auto. First we were hesitant but after we talked to Kirsten we decided to buy the car. She has answered every question we had. They have let us to check the car and take to the mechanic, everything was good. We don’t know the future but we love our car now. We have one year warranty. Everything about this place is great. Superbly cheap cars (most are salvage title from hail damage) so you don't haggle or BS- you can either buy the car or not! The staff there is super friendly and super knowledgeable. You can go to the lot and test drive any car you want, which lets you try out stuff you might not normally check out. I walked away with a killer deal on an amazing car. I'm recommending everyone I know to get their car at East Side.

I bought my Volkswagen Jetta from East side Auto about 5 years ago for a wonderful deal. It's ran like a champ the entire time I had it. Sadly, I decided to sell it this year because I wanted an SUV. However, I had no problems reselling it even with a salvage title.

We bough an SUV in February 2021. Later, we found out there was some miscommunication concerning the warranty of the vehicle. We ended up paying $2000 for a repair that was supposed to be covered by the warranty if correctly applied by the shop. We called East Auto to address the issue. They took full responsibility, they covered the costs we obtained, treated us with the highest level of respect and even extended our warranty beyond the standard. I highly recommend to purchase a vehicle from them because they treat people fair.

I have bought 3 cars from here and each one was a great deal. First one was a Hail recovery. The last 2 have been flood recoveries. My son is still driving the 2005 Altima I bought 10 years later. My most recent one was a Texas car that had dark tinted windows that I thought would be okay. My daughter got a fix-it ticket for dark tint and I called east side and they removed the tint under warranty including replacing the back glass (because pulling the tint would ruin the rear defogger wires). Great place to get a good deal on a car, and they stand behind their bumper to bumper warranty.

Awesome car buying experience. Not fancy, but very straightforward, honest people and good prices. One service issue since purchase which was very efficiently handled. They sell mostly branded titles - if you are OK with that, it is a fun place to shop for cars, and my buying experience was awesome. I did not miss the aggressive finance person pushing all kinds of high margin add-ons (fabric protection package anyone? window etching? No thanks.) Also, no outrageous "doc fee".

Their customer service made it feel like we were old friends. And the price was so low that I'd swear they weren't making money off of it. Overall it was a good experience. They helped us line up financing with a local credit union, and their good relationship with them made the process quick and easy. We needed a car in a hurry, so we weren't able to browse for weeks and see the new arrivals. But we did manage to find a couple vehicles that fit our price range and needs. It was no hassle to take them for test drives and then line up a mechanic's inspection. We were able to bring it to our mechanic in NE Minneapolis and have them give it a good once over before we settled on anything. Everyone we worked with was patient and willing to help, even when they weren't able to take care of it themselves, they were quickly able to direct us to someone that could. Just a note that every car here is a salvage and will have damage. They were upfront about everything they had found wrong with it and detailed it all for us when we found one we liked. Aside from the mechanic we took the vehicle to, they also have to complete inspections in order for a bank to approve a loan. They make every effort to ensure the vehicles they sell are in working order.
