    I recently purchased a car from this dealership and working with Mike B. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the other fantastic gentleman that helped us. We had a positive experience from the moment I got there. I I was greeted at the door, offered snacks and refreshments, and the process was smooth. I was treated with fairness and kindness and never felt like I was being taken advantage of. The Finance department that I worked with was equally as great. They all helped me get into the car I want and also leave with the monthly payment that I want. 10/10 for this dealership and I will be going back to them again in the future.

    My rating is 0 stars, but I had to choose at least one star in order to post this. The deal was that I was to get a rebate back from GM if I got the work done at Gateway Chevrolet Cadillac in Fargo, ND. I was more comfortable getting the work done with my regular mechanic, but if I was to get money back for a rebate program I decided that was the better option. So, I took their word for it and paid them in full when the work was complete. I sent/emailed GM direct my invoice, which was dated for December of 2021 for the rebate. By the time GM replied, on 1/14/2022, they declined my rebate for the reason being the rebate program was over. The work was done in Dec 2021 which my invoice shows, I submitted the rebate in Dec 2021, and they still declined it. The service person I was working with at Gateway told me to not worry about it, they would get it taken care of for me. After nothing happening, I followed up with Gateway.....it was back and forth for a couple weeks, until Gateway decided there is nothing they can do. GM won't budge either, even after I got them to say "yes, you are right, the work was done in Dec 2021. However I was Gateway's customer and not GM's. I tried to explain that to Gateway and asked them to do the right thing, but nothing. Sometimes it isn't about the money, but it is about doing the right thing. To put it nicely, I feel like I got screwed. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews, I'd rather get satisfactory service.

    My sales person did an AMAZING job! Very personable and knowledgeable - knew what would be just right for me and made it a point to get me in and out with a new car in less than a few hours. Will definitely be leasing again from Gateway!

    I usually have good service here. Brought my car in for an issue with the shifter. Told them it was the shifter and wanted an estimate on what it would be to replace it. Got the estimate back (almost $500). I found the same part for $40 cheaper elsewhere and will be here tomorrow. I took it home and already have the shifter ready to replace which took me 40mins to get to (and I’m no professional mechanic). Plus they did an inspection and wanted $50 to change a bulb that takes 1 min to change. Not only that they charge me $160 for a diagnosis when I told them exactly what the issue was already. And that was after I said I was going to get another estimate. I don't like feeling like I'm being ripped off when I try to give you my business. Will be doing my business elsewhere from now on.

    I feel it was not the best customer service that a service advisor was at his terminal not engaged with a customer and he told me I had to wait for someone else. I manage 2 service groups and that is not how my teams work. In the time I waited he did not help another customer. I feel you could do better with a different process.

    I brought our 2017 GMC Yukon in for service work. The Check Engine started flashing so we pulled over immediately and parked our Yukon. I went into Gateway the following day to advise them of what’s going on. They were aware that I had less than 60,000 miles and under 5 years. Alan in the service department advised me to get the Yukon towed with Aggressive Towing and gave me there number. He told me they do a great job and will know where to park it. He also conveyed it would take a few days to be able to determine the issue and confirm if it was covered under warranty. The issue was covered under warranty and they did a great job with fixing the issue. I left multiple messages for Alan asking if I could get reimbursement for the $125 towing since it was covered under warranty. He finally called me back 2 weeks later and was advised by Alan I needed to call an 800 number when the vehicle was being towed and I wouldn’t be getting reimbursed. This was never conveyed upfront. I asked for Gateway to cover this expense and Alan advised me he would have his service manager call me. I still have not received any correspondence and it’s been over a week. The $125 is not a big deal, it’s the lack of communication and taking ownership. Update 04/11/22. The service Manager Rochelle reached out and apologized for the mix up. She issued a refund check.     Their sales staff is good but their service department leaves a lot to be desired. Trying to get someone from the service department to return calls relating to possible recall work on my vehicle is like pulling teeth from an alligator. I've left phone messages, contacted via their chat app on their website, and through facebook. All I get is a generic email stating that they will contact me. That was over a week ago. It is quite rude and unprofessional. I've had similar issues in the past with trying to schedule oil changes and just as bad. I'm disappointed in the response I've received from the service department.

    Gateway Chevrolet Service Dept in Fargo at this point is incompetent. I cant count on them ever. there is horrible communication as in zero. The mechanics screw up a lot. The Advisors Have attitudes and are clueless. Oh yeah they are nice, until you complain or show any concern or resistance. If the mechanic told the advisor yeah the truck needs blinker fluid, and the advisor would tell the customer, Yeah your truck needs blinker fluid. The advisors need more knowledge. They never return phone calls. The mechanic that worked on my truck told me my truck, that has 90k on it, tells me my engine has engine hours on it equivalent to 166k miles. Turns out, not true. The panic I went through sucked. There is a whole lot more bad experiences I could share but i won't. Until something changes, I'm out. I will now be having me Chevrolet serviced at Ford.

    I've had a couple minor issues with both of the camaros I've had 2016 2ss and a 2018 zl1. Dan Dardis took excellent care of me both times with my warranty claims, he kept me posted everyday during the warranty repair. Dan is one of the best people I have ever worked with.

    The worst dealership cheaters, they send an email for my Hyundai 2010 recall when I dropped the vehicle I asked the agent specifically is their any charges she told me no its recall no charges, they kept the vehicle for 7 hours when I come back to receive the vehicle they told me unable to fix the vehicle today you need to leave the vehicle overnight I requested for a rental vehicle because I have the bbn only vehicle they said we dont have anything available sorry. Now they sent me an email of estimate of over $4000 what a shame.

    Gateway helped find and put us in our new GMC, and we couldn't be more appreciative! After our car was totaled, we were Walking between dealerships trying to find something affordable that would actually last. We ended up runnjng into our salesman (Jeremy) who brought us in, asked about our needs, and pulled options on the spot. Next thing, we're test driving this car that's nicer then we thought could even be an option, and it was perfect. Jeremy was amazing at understanding our situation while being kind and really helpful at the same time. So a personal thank you to him. Michael and Ryan were also amazing at helping push everything through! *** After the sale... Unfortunately tbh after having the car for a couple hours, our GMC started to have bad steering wheel vibrations. We called Jeremy and he asked us to come back to service right away. We received a nice loaner while they looked at it but our hearts sunk thinking this was going to cost us more. Turns out, it had a transmission related issue 😱 But they took care of it!! Just truly good customer service and honest way to handle everything. It was actually emotional for us catching a break after we'd been riding bicycles just to get around.     Just as I started to have faith in gateway, I have lost it. I took my car in for a blower motor not working. That cost 531$ they didn't tell me I would be charged to rent the vehicle (they couldn't repair it yesterdat so they had to keep it overnight) I've never been charged before. ALAN said oh you got 60 in free rentals before. We only give it free if it's due to warranty. Also they didn't say there was a charge to pay online. I normally don't cuss but today, I lost my cool. Also they said I need all new gaskets n such which will cost over 3200 m I found a reliable shop who charges about 1400 less. Save yourself the headache and go to a good honest shop. I wish I went to another dealership when I needed a car.

    The technician I worked with was rude from the get go. The first time, I chalked it up to someone having a bad day. I had to bring my vehicle back because the check engine light immediately came on and the panel of my passenger airbag wasn’t even installed correctly. He was even more rude the second time around over the phone.

    My husband and I initially came in at closing time on Saturday and Jeremy still took the time to answer our questions and even show us a vehicle we were interested in. We then set up a time to come back and talk specifics. Upon returning we were helped immediately and the rest is history!

    Might change this later down the road but as of now, I’m not happy at all with the way my Camaro ended up, after paying $1,100 for simple body work, I took my car in on Thursday for my taillight and running LEDS to be repaired, only light that was on my dashboard was for my tire pressure sensor and when I got there on Friday to pick up my car for my trip with my family, they brought my car to me with a check engine light and t/c light and more on my dashboard, it was so bad to the point that my car was shaking, I couldn’t take it and I couldn’t go on my trip, lost money for hotel I never went too, paid $1,100 car came back bad and now I have to wait all weekend long till Monday before they even look at it again, I’m highly disappointed and upset. Just hope that whatever this did to get my car running to messed up, gets taking care off with out them trying to get money out of me, I still got more work to be done on my car but not this way, not you guys messing it up, I’m hopes that I’ll pay right there and then to fix it, like I’m really really upset.

    Been waiting over 2hrs now for an oil change. Kind of ridiculous if you ask me. Nice waiting room and free coffee so that's cool I guess. UPDATE: 2 1/2 hours now. Might be better off heading over to the Bakken and pumping the oil myself. UPDATE2: Hey, they gave me $15 off for the wait. 2hrs 40min total. I'm guessing it was just a bad day, hopefully next time will be a better experience. UPDATE: Stopped in there today for an oil change and the experience was excellent. Took about and hour, my service rep Heidi was great, and they washed my truck. Price was competitive to any place in town. The report they gave me was detailed and very understandable. I will go back again.

    The problems started at drop-off. I showed up a couple of minutes early for my prescheduled appointment. I was not acknowledged although there appeared to be many advisors around. After an awkward wait being ignored, I was approached by Matt without so much as a greeting. He annoyingly started the check-in process and set me up with a shuttle ride. I was informed sometime after that the parts needed to repair my vehicle were not available for 7 days. I was then informed that no rental or loaner vehicles were available at the time of that. I explained that I understood that to Matt and expressed my vehicle requirements as we have 3 children. He called back and insisted I take a Chevy Colorado which I explained would not work. Matt's demeanor was annoyed and upset that I wouldn't accept the rental. He called the next day and informed me he had signed me up for a Nissan Titan and I needed to come to pick it up. I refused that rental as it was not suitable for our needs. I made another arrangement for a vehicle personally. I returned to gather a car seat and other belongings from the vehicle and I was met by an annoyed Matt again slamming his phone down to ask me what I needed as I wanted at his stand. When I returned to pick up my vehicle a week later I was informed fluid and shop consumables were not covered by my Elite warranty so expected to pay $50 on top of my deductible which was not ideal! That's a lot of break clean and paper towels! Matt then mentioned that he would submit my rental to the warranty company for payment I then reminded him I had not received a rental. He acted unaware of this and confused. I then met Matt outside to receive my vehicle which was delivered with non-functioning brakes. I returned immediately to inform Matt that the brakes (the original issue) were not functional. I was then asked to wait for 30 min as they attempted to repair them. 30min came and went so I found a ride back to work. 4 hours later I was contacted that the vehicle was fixed and that keys were in it waiting in the parking lot! This whole situation wasn't handled well! It lacked sincerity and customer service on a basic level! This is the second bad experience I have had in the last 6 months with your establishment!

    I appreciate a dealer that offers their best price when negotiating. My time is valuable and don’t appreciate dealers that want to run you thru a structured process that doesn’t fit my concerns. I have bought a few cars from them and always have a pleasant experience. They also have a great service department that handled my concerns and kept me informed throughout the repair. I’d highly recommend Gateway.

    So disappointed. Been waiting for my car for a week and a half as they were waiting on a part but now there isn't one to get. So happy that it still won't be fixed when we haul it away........ *Edit* my husband drove it home (he was told it was fine to drive) to find the sensor to the exhaust off and gateway cut a wire to it. 😡 Let's do some teaching and training or hire people who know what they're doing.. Nice to pay for the diagnostics check even after you do nothing but ruin my car more oh and $75 to put in a light bulb!? No thanks. I'm happy we bought the car from you guys a few years ago but I can't wait to be done with your messed up service department.

    Multiple horrible experiences with the service center most recent one tops them all.they entered a different vehicle I had into there system for a oil change and tire rotation they drove it into the shop took pictures of it and vin for the file . I waited well over 1.5 hrs only to find no work got done at all they where looking for my old vehicle they had on file the whole time.apparently thought they had lost it. this was before Thanksgiving travel. Put a oil change reminder sticker in vehicle but didn't change it.Definitely will be looking in to getting my fleet of vehicles serviced somewhere else!!

    I been customer with gateway more then 10 years many faces changes Unfortunate too bad way They almost don’t care about the customers because they get bigger or maybe something else I’m so disappointed I write this down and I feel sick Iam not happy they should Do better they should hire training qualify managers l hope someone see my comment to fix the madness at this place l like this place or business bad to be lighting up again

    I came in for a routine service and asked for an inspection. The inspection turned up an unknown issue that I was 50 miles away from having covered under warranty! I am glad they caught it! Saved me $1500! Dan was my customer service associate. He was great and kept me up to speed. I didn’t get his name, but the young guy with braces took over after Dan left and set me up with a rental since my car was in over night and I had a date for my wife’s birthday!

    We are headed to Pine Island Idaho from St Cloud in sub zero weather pulling our trailer of snowmobiles when our truck needed service ASAP. We pulled into Gateway and the cars were lined up already at 7 am. The owner personally heard and understood our plight and got things rolling for us. Within 2 hours we were back on the road. That was some of the best, kindest service I have ever seen. Super impressed that the owner of the place was at work before 7 on one of the coldest mornings of the year overseeing his staff and helping where needed. Lots of good people in this world!

    I went in inquiring about an oil change. The gal did not tell me no nor did she tell me they were closing soon (not from Fargo and I had bad information on closing of service department!) They happily took my vehicle in for the oil change and even did the rotate I had mentioned but said if they couldn't, not to bother! It was not until after they serviced my vehicle I found out they were closing in meer minutes. Fastest wait time for my vehicle - all hands on deck for the last service of the day!! If I could give them a customer service award I would! They definitely earned it!!

    I brought my Silverado in for the rear window recall and an oil change. The service department was very prompt and courteous and took care of the work as promised. I received a complimentary car wash after the service, this was much appreciated and a nice touch. I also was also offered a ride home while the work was being done, the dealership called me when the work was finished and sent a driver to my house to pick me up so I could pick up my vehicle. The driver was very courteous and prompt, keep up the good work!

    My husband & I were on a 4 hour road trip to visit our daughter (from MN to ND) when we had car trouble. We ended up having to get it towed to Gateway on a Friday evening, without their knowledge (since it was past closing time). We showed up Saturday morning at opening time, to let them know the situation. Matt, our Service Advisor went above and beyond! He got us in right away, kept us informed, verified our warranty & got us a loaner car as we ended up having to extend our stay in Fargo for the repair. We were so impressed by his kindness & professionalism that the next time we buy a car, we will be making the 4 hour trip from the Twin Cities to Fargo. Matt is a great asset to Gateway!!

    I work 45 minutes out of town so I had to get a rental to be able to get to work while my suburban was being worked on. Traci was kind enough to have my suburban dropped off at the car rental place so that I would not have to Uber to Gateway after dropping off rental to get my vehicle. This was a huge service to me! It's going the extra mile that makes for a positive experience!

    good service, but the serviceman doesn't know my car needs its oil changed every 2000 miles. My car tells me when it is due. they put 6000 miles for the time it needs a new oil change. Please update your service policy for the higher performance v8 engines. thank you

    I called several times and was unable to talk to service specialist. I was able to talk with someone to schedule an oil change. I discussed with him about a trailer brake error I was getting and he said I would have to discuss that with the service specialist when I dropped my truck off. I left a couple messages with service specialist and also responded to Text message I received when my daughter dropped the truck off. Still no response until after truck was back home and was told I would have to make another appointment with main shop. Still no answer when tried calling the shop to discuss this issue.

    Well it's easy to say that this place is hands down the best place I've been to. I was traveling from Montana to Wisconsin and my truck went into limp mode. I brought it in for service and I was treated like I was family from the beginning. Not only did I show up without an appointment, I also showed up with a car hauler attached and my dog with me. They said no need for an appointment we will get this taken car of for you. They first gave me a spot to off load my trailer with my classic mustang attached to it. then the staff greeted me and my dog with open arms and allowed my dog to be in the waiting room. Everyone loved my dog and treated him like he was their own. They figured out the problem unfortunately they didn't have the part in stock but they overnighted the part. They got me a rental but the most impressive thing, they even went as far as calling up hotels for me and got me the best deal around. Took care of the reservation and everything for me. They truly went way above and beyond. They even went as far as picking up my trailer for me and put it in their secure lot so nothing would happen to it.Fast forward to the next day they got the part in and fixed it right away. And I was back on the road in no time. They also went and faught GM to have them reimburse the hotel I stayed at. I can't express how much it was a pleasure to work with them. I want to give a big about out to traci,jenny and all the lovely staff there thank you very much.

    I had my transmission flushed on Friday at a different dealership in Minnesota. On my way to North Dakota, a warning popped up saying my transmission was hot. I didn’t have issues until today on my way back to Minnesota. I was 20 minutes outside of Fargo so I called Gateway to see if they’d be able to check my transmission fluid levels. The man I spoke to on the phone said that they’d be closing soon but they could potentially look at it. I got in and I could not be more impressed. Everyone from the man at the service desk, service manager, and service tech were so pleasant. They ended up looking at it, finding a temporary fix, and I was on my way. Very pleased!

    Update: Since the post below. Luke/Service Manager at Gateway has called wanting to make things right. He went out of his way to correct the issues. They have since repaired my car. Thank you Gateway for turning this bad situation around, it shows you really care about customer service! Kelly I brought my car in for an oil change. The day before I brought it in, my driver's side window would not go back up. I asked them to review it. At the time, they did not tell me there would not be a diagnostic fee included. Caleb was the service person I worked with who called back and said that it was the motor. The quote was $232. I told them not to do the work as I was sure I could get it done cheaper elsewhere. I picked up my car and my total for my oil change was $196 and change. I was not happy with the upcharge. Caleb had explained to me when I paid that the $129.95 that I paid for the diagnostic fee would go towards my repair if I changed my mind to have the work done by Gateway. In the meantime, I received a cheaper quote from the local Barnesville repairman. Although now I had to take consideration of the $129.95 diagnostic fee I just paid. It was now not a cheaper job for someone else to do. The next day I called Caleb back at Gateway and he had reversed his words and said that the diagnostic fee would NOT go towards the repair. He would need to talk to his supervisor to see what or if he could get anything taken off on the labor. He called me back and said they would only take 10% off parts and labor of $232, making the total around $200. What a joke. Who would pay $330 for a window motor? None of the 129.95 that I paid for would be taken off the $232 quote. Of note, when I also got home the wire cowl/sleeve that was in the door joint was gone. My car was quickly put back together after I decided that Gateway was not going to do the service. The wires were pinched, which may have caused more damage. I am due to take my car in tomorrow for he repair as that is when the part is supposed to be here. I am not happy with the service I recently had with Gateway.

    I asked my service advisor to have the mechanic look at the front struts to see if they were bad and to give me an estimate for new ones. The service advisor did his job and asked the mechanic to look at it. The mechanic said everything looked good. I know the drivers side front strut is bad. It has oil all over it and the front end bounces like crazy. I have been around cars for quite awhile and I know when a sock is out. The kind I have is magnetic ride control struts. Expensive parts. I ordered the parts and I am doing it myself.

    We had work completed on our vehicle 6/10/22 and the technicians damaged the paint on the front corner panel when they splashed diesel exhaust fluid all over and it ate through the clear coat. 3 follow up calls later and I have yet to hear back from their service manager. Avoid this dealership, the service is terrible.

    I was just driving through the area when my vehicle’s check engine light came on. It was an emergency stop for me as I was driving cross country. Despite being busy, the technician who helped me was able to understand my situation and helped me out. I was in and out in 2 hours and made it home to Los Angeles without any issues. He gave me follow-up instructions for future service on my vehicle which I will do today. Very much appreciated.

    The Nissan service manager (who is great by the way) knows all about it. Basically, the service technician made it appear as though I had to pay over a $100 for a diagnostic which basically consisted of lifting up the hood and taking a picture of a small amount of corrosion on the battery and then made it sound like nothing else could be done until that was resolved. In the end, I paid almost $200 for a battery cleaning, which I could have easily done myself for less than $10 and would have resulted in the same "repair" in the end. Edit: upgrading from one star to three stars as I did receive some discount off of the cost of the service and both the Nissan service manager and Gateway scheduling manager both connected with me and showed concern to follow up with the issue and make sure things are taken care of. This meant a lot to me and goes a long way for customer service.

    Had service done on my truck.. which I purchased here over 4 years ago and have been doing regular service since.. but recently I crawled under my truck to change my own oil and the drain plug was hammered in with an impact and stripped. So I brought my truck into the dealership.. not only did they charge me for fixing their mess up they also put the stripped drain plug back in!! Super frustrating.. won't be coming back anytime soon unfortunately...

    I came in for an oil change and rotation. Previously, I bought the tires there and was still charged for the rotation.     The parts weren't available and delayed the completion by one day, but potentially as much as a month had I not take after market parts. The price for the service was $1,184 to replace the transmission cooler pipe. This seemed very high.

    Brought my vehicle there and was charged $158 for a diagnostic fee. Then was told my warranty was no good and the bill would be like $4,000. I don’t think he even called the warranty company because they would have paid the diagnostic fee as well as the repairs. So I’m pretty well done with you guys and your gouging

    What a joke today went in for an oil change. Gateway has commercials on there info TV in the waiting room advertising 66.99 oil changes, asked service advisor about discount, was told I had to have coupon. Then why advertise in waiting room, asked to talk to an service manager and they could not get him to answer phone.

    I bought a 2014 Terrain from gateway on South University back in Nov and 3 months down the road there were some major problems that anywhere else I would have had to pay 3 grand out of pocket to get back on the road since the car was sold to me AS IS; however I paid 100$ and the dealership paid the the rest,,, Thank You Alan for going to bat for me and Gateway for making it right!     We had EXCELLENT customer service! We are repeat customers and come back because of their past service that they have given us. We want to give kudos to our sales and leasing professional, Danielle Owen. Danielle was so respectful, great listener, kind, caring, happy, smiley, personable, and patient. She is an example of the absolute best sales professional that one would want to deal with! She explained EVERYTHING about the vehicle, which we really appreciated! We can't forget the young man that washed our new vehicle for us before we left! He even came and showed us his smile and pride in his work, and to make sure we were happy with the cleanliness of the vehicle. We are sorry we didn't catch his name (next time we will!)     I was impressed with the dealership staff from start to finish. They went the extra mile to address a problem that was part of a GM service bulletin. With my Corvette only having 6800 miles and the warranty had just expired, Gateway Chevrolet worked with GM to cover all the repairs. I am an hour away from the dealership and had to leave the car an extra day before I could pick it up. The dealership kept my car inside the dealership away from the elements until I could get down to get my car. I am extremely satisfied with the care that was given to me as a customer by Gateway Chevrolet.

    I had a wonderful experience at this dealership. I am from out of the area and honestly was ready to trade my Chevrolet in for another brand of truck. I broke down out side of Fargo and limped my way into town. I went to Gateway and was met by wonderful technicians who were brutally honest about the time it would take for me to get my vehicle repaired. Michael was my service advisor and made arrangements for a rental car for us to get home as my vehicle was under warranty. the next day I got a call on the repairs and parts were going to be 4 to 5 weeks out. Eric in the service department got the parts in a week and the repairs were completed that day. I was 4.5 hours away and could not get the rental car back in a timely manner and the dealership went out of their way to get my truck back to me.     I have brought my Impala here whenever I've had a problem and they've always taken care of me. Dan is the best service rep they have. He is very honest and isn't trying to just take all your money. The shuttle service is so convenient. The waiting area is clean and nice. The show room is packed with options.     My wife was the one that started the inquiry but ended up not being able to take the constant phonecalls we received from Gateway due to her job. I took over taking phone calls but Gateway would call my wife twice before contacting me and if I was busy call her again. There was no communication between employees causing us to receive several phonecalls that had already been discussed at least once before with someone else. The main offended was Michael Blythe. Unfortunately, due to the current vehicle climate we had no option but to deal with this dealership and we did purchase a vehicle. We will never work with Gateway again. I'd recommend doing your research like we did and only show up at the dealership if you are confident you want the vehicle they offer. Never give your phone number out prior to purchase. This was our primary issue but we had other issues we had that gives them 2 stars.

He and I agreed to numbers over the phone (we’re out of state) and when my husband called FROM THE AIRPORT to confirm, his sales person said, verbatim, “I could sell you the truck at that number but I’m not going to. We could get more for it at auction” I left multiple messages for the sales manager I spoke with AND the General Manager and none of my calls were ever returned. I’m a woman working in automotive sales and even I’ve never been treated this badly at a dealership.

    My service advisor Traci is the only reason I am not giving 1 star or a 0/10 on recommending Gateway Chevrolet to other people. She was super nice, kind hearted, and understanding, I felt like she was working to truly help me with my vehicle issues. I brought my car in because my lights on my 2007 suburban pulsed (they would dim and brighten constantly). I asked to have that fixed, I asked the team to look at the battery or the alternator to see if those could be the issues. I received a message later that same day stating the alternator was fine and the battery needed to be replaced. The technician also stated that I needed: new wires/spark plugs, to change out my transmission fluid, and a new power steering hose. I told Traci I just wanted what would fix my light issue. I was lead to understand in order to fix my chief complaint I would need the new battery, and new wires/spark plugs. So, I declined the Transmission fluid and the power steering hose as I only wanted the pulsing lights issue fixed. They replaced the battery and wires/spark plugs in a timely manner and I came to pick up my car later that day. Once I paid my bill, they brought my car around and gave me my keys. I walked outside, started my car, and the pulsing lights issue had not been fixed. I went back in and talked with Traci, she came out and agreed the problem had not been fixed. She grabbed the technician and had him take a look. He said I would need to bring my car back to have it looked at again. So a week later I brought my car back and left it for the day. Later that day, I was told I now needed to have my alternator replaced. Why did it not need to be replaced at the last visit? I agreed to replacement of the alternator. I paid to have the alternator fixed, received my car and the problem had finally been fixed. After that experience I feel as if the service department is trying to pull a fast one on me and just wants me to pay for things that don't even need to be fixed. Did I really need to have new wires/spark plugs, did I need a new battery? I'm just glad I declined their other recommendations of transmission fluid replacement and new power steering hose as I feel those likely do not need to be replaced at this time. I feel like the mechanics at Gateway Chevrolet solely want to fix problems that are not even problems, and they don't care about the chief complaints of the customers. Do the mechanics not look over their own work to make sure the problem is fixed? The pulsing of the lights on my car was so obvious, all you had to do was turn the car on to see if the problem was fixed or not. The interior lights pulsed when they were on, the headlights pulsed when they were on, Traci said "the pulsing lights would have given her a headache if she had to drive that car for long (that's how obvious the pulsing was)." The mechanics need to do their job and check over their work before charging customers money. I plan on finding a different GM certified mechanic in Fargo for my further maintenance. Though, I will miss Traci and her positive attitude.

    Normally people don't like to take vehicles in for service but Matt did an exceptional job of explaining what needed to be done and communicated with throughout the entire process. The repairs were done on time and I was happy with the results. Gateway is lucky to have someone like Matt who takes the time to listen to its customers and makes sure all their needs are met!     Wouldn’t give a one star if we could! We called inquiring about a brand new vehicle we saw on their website. The first question we were asked was where we live because apparently if you don’t live in their “market” they charge you $2500 more than the price that shows on their website! What poor customer service! This would’ve been a guarantee sale for them too, we just had some clarifying questions to ask! Very disappointing!

    I am a owner operator. I was on the way to pick up load had a welded clamp break on air to air on my 3500 hd. I called parts to see if they had it. Yes they did !! That was the best feeling. To top it off I asked if anyway at all they could get me in. Service lady went explained it to manager said might be 2 hours. I said super!! They were the best from parts to service from start to finish!! They had me in and did a recall as well in 2 hours!! It was easy work for them however not the point. BEST EVER TREATMENT AT A DEALER EVER HAD!! if they are not #1 in ND they should be for sure superb service not enough stars for the help. Thanks so much!!

    Friendly staff with a poor execution. I have had a great experience at your dealer in the past, but this was not one of them. There was a huge lack of communication in the services being provided and the cost behind them. The team seemed only vaguely apologetic about their mistakes and did not leave me feeling confident in Gateway or their management when I left.

    Just bought a new van. Salesman was named Jeremy. Super nice, super helpful.. update after the sale is what counts the most. Previously rated 5 stars, changed to 2 stars. Different vehicle bought Previously brought in for service for the first time. Price was absolutely ridiculous! One coil and one little coil wire. $450! Within the first 10 minutes to "diagnose" your car and the misc. Shop supplies(the paper towel the mechanic wipes his hands on when he's done) we were already at $175. Factor in the 100% markup on the parts and another $135 hr for labor, I guess that's how you come up with $450 for an hour and fifteen. After totally putting the screws to me,, he did give me a $20 off coupon he "found" otherwise it would have been $470.Car only had 27000 miles on it, shouldn't have fell apart already in the first place. Wouldn't recommend the camaro to anyone. That's okay, I am in the market for another car for my daughter. It won't be chevy...

    Went to the dealership to get oil change and tire rotation. I didn't have an appointment but they were more then happy to take care of me and let me know it would be 45 to hour which I was fine with. Waited in store of which during this time of unknown we all are worried about the virus. The store was very clean, all the staff kept the distance and also when asked about some cars while waiting they all were very knowledgeable and only willing to show me if I wanted to get a closer look. Very happy with the staff and enjoy going to the store to feel somewhat of a normal world.

    Kevin, the Quick Service Manager, was amazing! He advised me to phone the Business Development Center to make my appointment and I did so via his advise. At my appointment arrival, he greeted me at the Service Area and made all my accommodations flow smoothly...ie: the shuttle service to my work, the approximate time my vehicle would be in service and that they would call when my vehicle was ready! This is the first time I have had my vehicle serviced here in years as I was unhappy with the previous service I had received. However, knowing that Kevin is working here now, ALL of my vehicles (including my husband's) will be serviced here!!! I am very, very happy with Kevin and the service I received!!!

    Even with an appointment it took 2.5 hours to get an oil change. I was told upon checking in 1.5 hours in and out (which is still way too long in my opinion). Will not be returning for oil changes any time soon

    Your salesman was horrible We had an appointment to pick up both our vehicles ( me and my dad bought new trucks ) and he kept calling and texting wanting to verify if we would be there He also gave us the wrong price when we were working out a deal and tried changing what we wanted to a cheaper truck It took the sales manager to straiten everything out
