Just felt ripped off but I needed the money. Paid me a lot less than the actual gold price. He never accounted for diamonds. The place down the block was closed but it gives much better prices & much friendlier. I found best prices for gold & silver melt is online mail in, for the best price. Overall experience was bad. You won't feel good after u cash in at Kamaaina Loans!! I felt dirty and used! I should have waited until Monday but live and learn.

Easier to talk to if u can make him laugh, he drops his guard and make him chill la'dat. Transaction went better, came to a reasonable agreement, and i was satisfied with my results. I swear I d k cause if I look young to these guys always but I pawned my two headphones one was really in bad shape but my other one was in excellent condition, and they offered me only $25 for beat solos and studio. Also a guy had all his musical things in good shape and they tried offering the guy $50 dollars for everything, the small guy or short guy in there is always rude to me, but everyone else has a good attitude. If your trying ti pawn anything do not go to them, I saw things in there shop overpriced where you can go Walmart or target for the same price.

Went here in the afternoon on. Wednesday. Very friendly and attentive staff. The store is bright, spacious, well organized, and welcoming. They have a very lovely selection of fine jewelry at amazing prices. I probably saved well over 60% of what I would have spent on a beautiful vintage design 14k wgold diamond wedding band. There's a little bit of everything for everyone there including beautiful artwork, antiques, heirlooms, gemstones, collectibles, and even toys for the keiki. My daughter was very amused by the large fish they had swimming in the tank.

Perfect service, perfect everything. Definitely Kama’ina in every definition. I did not request a loan for today’s visit. I parted ways with precious metals and wouldn't trust anyone else but these guys. I will definitely be back for future business. Aloha.

What more can I say? This pawn shop operates more like a family consignment center where there is an all around good attitude and employees that try to get you what you need. They have reasonable terms and have always come through for me when I need them most and for that I am thankful. You can go to other places that may be more convenient to where you live but you will never find better service than you will here with Richard and his crew...

When I lived on Maui it was a no brainer to take my coins, scrap gold and silver to what was then Kamaaina Metals. Always friendly, honest, more than fair. I’ve lived in Pennsylvania for several years and this week paid FedEx overnight plus the cost of extra insurance to ship my coins to the only place I trust. I highly recommend you do the same! Just got a sweet old Marshall amp from them . The guy that helped me I think his name was Ralph? I could be wrong, but he was great help. He pulled out the amp from the back and got it goin so I could test it out. Im totally happy to give this old amp some love. These amps are easy to fix and made to last forever. With proper service from time to time of course.

Alan was very helpful, explained how it all works and meticulously went thru each piece testing it as he went. We had 10kt, 14kt and 18kt all mixed together. We got a very fair price for our gold and are happy we took a friends advice and went to Maui Gold Buyers located inside Kamaaina Loans and Pawn shop. Mahalo Alan for great customer service.

Great place to pick up silver. They give you good deals and everyone that works there are very helpful and nice to talk with. Alan who works there calls me when silver comes in which is a nice service to let me know. The owner gave me a great deal on a 1989 proof American silver eagle. Besides silver they have Morgan silver dollars and peace dollars. Plus they have a great selection of anything else you are looking for. I’ve been going to them for 10 years and they’ve never let me down in giving me great deals. It’s the only place I go to.

Great pawn shop. Well lit, friendly people. Thought I was just looking but, prices for silver coins were cheaper than anything I could find online. Adam is very knowledgable and was able to confirm silver purity on the spot with a meter. Came back two days later and bought even more. Lots of other good stuff at good prices. Will definitely be going back.
