I have mixed feelings about this company. My advisor was great (Bianca) but the process was confusing with the automated emails and non congruent updates. Several emails I received said I was missing documents, when in fact I wasn’t. Additionally I received a message saying my application was returned, when it wasn’t. I feel like there should be less automation and more personalized service. I did receive funding which is terrific, but it really was a difficult process. For the round 1 funding I used Wells Fargo, which was even more frustrating. All in all, I am happy with the outcome. It’s just a process you need to stay on top of and be a “squeaky wheel.”

My company is just over a year old and we needed to add more liquidity in order to grow our business. Since we did not have multiple years of operational history, we were limited in finance choices. Searching the internet was a daunted task as you can imagine but luckily, we came across a company called Lendio. After reading some great reviews, I decided to reach out. My experience with Lendio was a journey. When i started the application process it was so easy and i got quick response from the team. Russell Trammell contacted me and that's What i like about them, they're fast to contact you anytime no matter how late both via text and email to make sure you submit all required documents for verification. And the loan process is fast. I got approved but i mistakenly messed up on signing my documents with Ready Capital. That's when my frustration sets in. It took longer but finally got resolved. The only down side is no one pick the calls. Overall they're efficient and gets the job done fast. I referred other businesses owners and they got it done fast as well. Highly recommend Lendio! Thanks July 2nd 2021 : This is an update of my second experience with Lendio. I signed my contract awhile back in May 22nd 2021 but never got funded by Texas National Bank. It was just June 30th 2021 i was told my business can't secure funding. With the first draw, Lendio staff were reaching out non stop but the second draw PPP you're literally on your own. After numerous emails, on June 15th 2021 Crystal Fonbah called and told me to upload some document which i did again. She told me to expect funds in 2weeks since i already completed the DocuSign awhile back. By 2nd week her number is off. Also is strange to sign contracts for funds we didn't get. Is it reported to Sba has been funded or what? Lendio just made things harder for small buz owners like myself,. please be more organized.

We received our PPP loan through Lendio and Ready Capital. We were very satisfied with the communication regarding our loan status, and the communication in regards to Congress, COVID and SBA funds. I'm currently working through my PPP application with a Lendio representative but the communication is very poor. After weeks of waiting to hear back, I found out the SBA was waiting on me for additional documents...my Lendio rep never reached out to tell me this information. I'm now having to follow up several times a day and only getting small pieces of information. Honestly, it feels as though I will miss out on this important funding my business needs due to my rep's lack of communication. I'm very nervous and stuck as you can't reapply with another lender once the process has started. Could anyone at Lendio reach out and help? I applied for my PPP through Lendio. I applied based on a referral from a friend who had a decent experience. Unfortunately, my experience has been more like the other BBB reviews that I’ve read. I have had my SBA number, lender, and loan amount for two weeks now. There has been zero movement and upon inquiry, Lendio continues to shift responsibility to the Lender. When this happened the first time, I reached out to the lender directly and they claim they have not received my application from Lendio. I relayed this information to Lendio and they continue to blame the lender. I have called both Lendio (I have never gotten through to anyone) and the lender everyday for the last two weeks. The lender has still not received any information from Lendio. The rep from Lendio has been of no help. I guess my measly 11K loan isn’t as lucrative of a commission. They also have responded to other complaints with an apology and a phone number, which no one answers. I imagine they are doing so to avoid an even worse BBB rating from lack of response. People are hurting through this pandemic and it’s a shame that a company like this doesn’t provide the service that it claims. If I were an employee of Lendio I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night.

When my own bank was less than helpful with the PPP application, Lendio was prompt and professional in their handling of my application. Best of all, while I was waiting for a decision, Lendio kept me informed via different emails. Although these emails could not promise me the application was approved, they were extremely helpful for small business owners like me in dealing with the anxiety of waiting. Today, my loan application has been tentatively approved and funding has been reserved for me. Well, with my own bank, still no response.

As a small business owner, I waited weeks for my bank, Capital One, to get their act together, and start excepting applications for the PPP. Unfortunately it never happened. I was informed by my payroll company, Heartland, that they were partnering with Lendio to accept applications and shop them around to qualified lenders. Sure enough, 2 days after filling out the application and submitting it, Lendio found us a bank, the loan was approved and now we are about to finalize the deal with the SBA. I can’t say enough good things about Lendio. They were professional, prompt, engaged, and very forthcoming. A top notch company with top notch staff. All I can say is you guys probably saved my business and the jobs of my 18 employees and we all thank you for it!

My experience with them has been a disaster. They calculated the wrong loan amount on my initial application and it’s called all sorts of problems. My rep told me this and it’s obvious. I have received 4 different contracts from their lender Ready Capital, I signed them, responded to all requests they made, and nothing gets funded. The last one was 4/13, so I patiently waited another 10 days like I was told. I keep getting told there are “system glitches” and they are working on them and I should be patient. It’s been almost 3 months now, and the program is expiring in a little over a month. I have tried to be patient. I gave them some slack because I watched the livestream with the President/Owner who seems like a righteous, well meaning person. I’m stunned that a company run y a person like this could botch something as bad as they have. My funding rep texts me with updates of encouragement, but nobody can seem to fix my problem and I’m left twisting in the wind. Because I have been issued SBA loan numbers, I don’t have the option of trying another place. They have had multiple opportunities to fix the problem. I hope they can redeem themselves, but time is running out and it’s causing enormous stress in my life. I am hoping beyond hope they get this fixed, but I would never recommend using a company that has put me through such an emotional wringer. Update 4/28 Thank you for your follow-up. My specialist called me late last night and said they are escalating it. She's been very responsive and I appreciate that, it's just frustrating this has drug on this long. It sounds like everything is very automated, and once something goes wrong it's hard to get corrected or speak with a person who can intervene. Hoping for a good outcome. After a long a drawn out process, I got funded. My funding manager (Te'Aira Jones) really stuck with it to the end and was absolutely great. Lendio's overall system could use some work, everything is extremely automated and when things go off the rails (like my app did), it was very frustrating getting human intervention to fix it. But in the end, it turned out fine. Nobody should have to go through the ups and downs I did; I was lucky in that somebody made sure it got done. Thank you!

Lendio is an incredible partner to small businesses like mine. When the big banks did nothing to help, we turned to Lendio based on a recommendation from a friend. I’m so glad we did. He contacted me each day after he had forwarded the application, to inform me of activity regarding my application. When he received an update, I would be notified of the next step and anticipated length of time for the next phase to happen. As a today after months of waiting I have not been funded for my business, because of the poor job of some lenders. Lendio in the other has been very helpful with me specially my Funding Manager ( Grant Cowley). Grant and I we’ve been communicating via email and phone once or twice per week and figured out why these lenders did not have their act together, Grant also contacted his higher managers to find a way for me to get funded elsewhere, he understood my frustration and he kept me on the loop of every step. As I mentioned as a today I haven’t been funded it seems I should get my loan soon, but what ever happens Lendio and specially (Grant Cowley), gave the hope that I need it. This Lendio service was better than the actual banks in staying in touch, both via personal phone contact with an actual person assigned to our application, and via email almost daily. We did apply at other banks and did not receive even the minimum communication. So, Lendio was vastly superior to the banks in that regard, which is really the one thing that matters most: communication ! We all know things are tough and getting approvals are most difficult. Nobody expects miracles in this unprecedented time, but at least stay in touch, and Lendio did exactly that ! For that, I am extremely grateful. .

Absolutely a life saver. When my current business bank, Wells Fargo was unhelpful, unfriendly and not available to give me any options for SBA PPP loan, I found Lendio. The process from their website was easy, the online char for customer support was quick and efficient, and lastly, I got my loan approved within 4 days of submitting the application and requisite paperwork. Honestly had never heard of Lendio until Wells Fargo gave me such a run around with the PPP loan program for small business. Lendio was terrific. Treated me nicer than Wells and BOA where I hold a combined 5 bank accounts. Lendio communicated every step of the way and go the job done. I will be using them for future banking needs as well.

Lendio assigned a representative to my application. She was very informative & responsive to my emails & questions. There was constant communication almost daily, including phone calls. No email went unanswered or had a generic auto response.

I have edited my review and added a star. Although Lendio was over it's head on the PPP Loan process in many ways beyond their control, to be fair, they did legitimately try make these loans happen as best they could, and I did finally get my loan after tremendous stress. Initially, they tried hard to keep in communication, again, as best they could, but as the issues from lenders snowballed, the communication became vague and less frequent. Quantity of loans out there was not exactly the best scenario in this case. In general, I appreciate and liked using Lendio.

I found Lendio on the SBA website. I was then contacted by Joe Fontana of Lendio. He sent me the Payroll Protection Program Loan application. Very easy to fill out. He called and asked if I had any questions. I said I was gathering information. I then started filling out the application. sent payroll info and other requested documentation. Even while I'm filling it out, Joe called me and said he received the data I just downloaded and asked other questions and walked me through the remaining portions of the loan. WOW, this is Saturday and Joe called and helped me. I am very impressed with his professionalism and his company. I'm letting the other 133 franchise owners know of Lendio and Joe as they are the only company to reach out to me after I tried to contact and work with three other lenders, including my own bank Chase. Thanks Joe, great job! Now, lets hope I get the loan to stay solvent!

I contacted the lender and SBA many times with no success, I was about to give up (seriously considered it, but didn't want to be penalized) when I contacted the Director of Local Partnerships, Theresa Potter. Best decision I ever made! She immediately reached out to the escalation team and within a week I received the funding. I couldn't be more grateful for her help and support.

My company is applying for a second PPP loan through Lendio. They assigned my loan to a lender but for 2-months, they are failed to provide basic customer service. On status inquiry, they say "we'll escalate your request to your account manager". No one calls back, the person you deal with changes with every call and they only say "you loan package has been forwarded". I DO NOT recommend using Lendio for this service. It has been a miserable, insulting experience.

Submitted a PPP application with Lendio on 5/20/21. Was assigned a "funding manager" that not once responded directly. or indirectly to my emails or calls/voicemails. Was strangely assigned someone else that has done the same. Now I'm assigned to an email address that's not valid, and a phone number that's not in service. Can't get anyone on the phone with any other number either. There's plenty of other issues as well. So, no updates on the status of my application, which at this point seems like an illegitimate scam to get sensitive information from small business owners. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing. So now I wait for identity theft I suppose.

I wish I could give them a better rating but my experience was not great. My representative changed multiple times and there seemed to be no consistency in communication. I had to contact them multiple times for a simple process and in the end after they had completed my PPP Loan, I got an email asking me to sign someone else's PPP Loan. And then they emailed me saying the loan money would be gone if I didn't apply. I think they're just swamped and hiring folks on the spot without proper training. Perhaps it's a casualty of our COVID craziness. And maybe they'll do better once this all calms down.

I contacted Lendio to explore financing options for our small business and received a call within minutes from Ryan Hanson, Funding Manager, who thoroughly explained how Lendio works, and who took time to discuss our history, current business, and upcoming needs at length. With that information, he quickly identified several different products that might work for us, and set about finding the right financing for us. Even when the first few options did not quite fit, Ryan listened and explored some more, until he found exactly the right option for our business. It all worked very well, and I felt like Ryan was a great partner in this phase of our growth. Highly recommended!

I applied for a PPP Loan through Lendio and it has been a horrible experience. They changed my loan amount without my consent and forwarded it to a lender with incorrect amounts. I never signed any paperwork with the changes they made. It is impossible to talk to anyone from lendio. My repeated emails and calls for past 2 weeks have gotten no response. Do not use this company if you are looking for good service and any kind of response to your questions. Your response below is invalid below. I submitted proper documents and calculations were altered and now I can't get a single representative to respond to me as to why. I just want to cancel my application and go with a different lender.

After being put aside and told our ppp funds were about to come for 50 days I got smart and went somewhere else. Got my money in five days.... yes start to finish five days! I hope you understand your greed in taking in too much without the ability to fund in a timely matter is going to cost a lot of people there business!!! It was then that I decided to explore other options and came across Lendio. We applied for a PPP loan in February 2021 which was granted and paid in late March. For weeks Lendio kept telling us that they needed more info to grant the loan, and in fact told use, 4 weeks after payment transfer, that they were shelving the loan because we hadn't responded (which we had). It's been 6 weeks after payment and still haven't rec'd any loan paperwork for the actual loan. We've contacted the bank and they said they've told Lendio to send us the loan details, and we still don't have it. I know they're swamped, but this is totally unacceptable.

I recently had the good luck to work with Bret at Lendio. We were not in a favorable credit position and needed to complete a rehab that we were working on. Bret worked through the issues and found just the right lender within 24 hours and had us on line and completed. Very impressed and will work with him in the future and highly recommend him for all kinds of loans.

Amazing company to work with especially for the smallest of the smallest small businesses like ours. I was approved right before the deadline and received a PLP number from the SBA. My own bank, Wells Fargo, didn't send me an application until two days before the money ran out. Thank you Brock and the Lendio team for helping the really little people.

Chase was a HUGE help in securing our funding, even when our initial efforts halted. We are a profitable business but banks were stingy, and there was a lot of paperwork and process involved. He even texted us every day with updates, which was a huge relief. Lendio came through when banks and brokers failed.

I was hired by Lendio as a temp to help process loans. They hired 700 new temps in a two month period to help alleviate a horrendous back log of loans. From my first day of employment I could tell that this company is poorly managed. The "trainer" was told that morning that she would be training us and therfore, she was completely unprepared. The materials were so outdated that she spent the entire day updating them while we just sat there staring at her via Zoom. She was using cuss words and voiced her frustration. The next day they threw me on a team, that's right,  no formal training. The next "trainer" was in the exact same predicament of not knowing she'd be training and therefore spent 15 mins sharing her screen saying "go here, here, here, and here." That's it!  That was my training. I then got moved to another team where the young Team Leader never checked in or guided us. It's literally a free for all and all the employees are scrambling to learn without any guidance or leadership. Every week a group of older guys do what the employees call "hoo-rah" meetings where they stand around patting each other on the back and clapping for each other...not sure why they are celebrating when the behind the scenes is a disaster and employees are making fun of them behind their backs. Employees just use this time to leave the computer active and get a free hour of pay bc these meetings are so hard to watch. The back log was so insane Lendio had to stop taking new applications. Most of the back log was unworkable since most lenders pulled their accts or customers gave up with getting the run around. It's frustrating as an employee who really wanted to help get customers their funds but wasn't able to bc the company changed their process daily and never gave employees the tools. Instead they let go of most of the Temps leaving them completely empty-handed for their dedication and eagerness to get customers funded.  Others got to stay but not bc they are great workers but bc their name hasn't been drawn yet. If you are wondering why your loan experience is frustrating and why you are getting the run around.... this is why! I know the owners will respond with excuses and their self-proclaimed reasons why we should all be patting them on the back, but this is an honest and hands-on review of an actual employee. I was advised by several job recruiters not to mention that I worked there bc it would prevent me from getting hired by a reputable bank. Don't work here and fall for their false hope and definitely don't have them process your loan.

Thank you Lendio. During this stressful time my business has been temporarily closed and I was worried about being able to reopen and keep on my entire team. I had a great experience applying for the PPP through Lendio. The one thing I appreciated the most was how consistently they contacted me throughout the process. They are a great example of how a business can give awesome customer service despite the fact that it never required a phone call nor meeting.

UPDATED: I applied for my PPP loan back at the beginning of February and received my SBA backing on 02/12/2021 and here it is nearly 3 months and I still have not received any money. I really needed those funds and the delay has been costly to me. I was working with Paige who is the only good thing about this company, but even with her doing everything in her power still nothing happened. I don't know if it was Lendio or Customer's Bank, or both who caused the delay. They both pointed the fingers at each other. Meanwhile, I am the one who was financially hurt. I finally asked to withdraw my application so I could go to another vendor and still that was delayed so once again I am having to wait. Now I will not have time to file for my 2nd PPP which I am probably going to need since I am still shut down and have not been able to find work. Please take my advice and go with another lender for your PPP loan.

We are so grateful for Lendio. Thanks to a colleague encouraging us to apply through Lendio vs. our "big bank" we use for business, our loan was accepted and we have been informed that funds have been set aside for us. We are now awaiting contact from lender. We will update you soon, but it sure was a relief to receive our PLP number!!

I have tried different lenders to get a business loan. Most of them are aggressive and annoying. One of the lenders that i applied even stated that we could get you an approval within 2 hours. It has been days without hearing from them. Working with Ron at Lendio is pleasant. He was on top of my loan at the moment i clicked get approved. I got an approval from him a few days later. I wasn't sure that I want the loan due to my credit history. But Ron is patience and help me answered all my questions. Even though, I did not really needed the loan. But I took the loan because i felt that he has been helpful with me. Who knows, I might need this bridge loan during this holidays. Thanks for being patience and helpful Ron. Lendio has been great experience. We applied at 8 other places for PPP and Lendio is the ONLY ONE that's been able to provide status and effective (and frequent) communication. Super impressed with their platform thus far and would love to use them for other funding in the future.

I don’t even have the words to describe what Lendio has done for myself and my business! I was in desperate need of the PPP loan during COVID 19, all of my business and personal accounts were with big banks that did not start the loan process on time. Someone mentioned Lendio to me and decided to try it before the SBA ran out of money and I was left in an even worse position! Not only did they get my loan approved, it was done quickly and before the money did run out. They were also so patient with me and my millions of questions or just my anxiety alone, the always listened when on the phone and they always replied quickly by email. Hit milestones and set real expectations when applying for loans. Speaking from my experience getting loans is easier when you have financials to show and business is showing signs of good growth. I usually failed at applying for loans in the early stages when we were desperate for money. I hope this information helps and does not discourage people from applying!

To date I have had an incredibly positive experience working with Lendio to secure my PPP loan as a small independent contractor with no prior affiliation with the brokerage. From online application to positive daily email updates to successful matching with an SBA-approved lender and issuance of PLP number indicating secured funds in less than 7 days, it has been an incredibly efficient and professional series of encounters. I have not yet attempted to reach out via phone or email during this application process to speak to responsiveness to customer inquiries.

I manage a small aviation company, and Wells Fargo (who we have banked with for over 20 years) was unable to help us secure funding via the PPP program. We applied through Lendio per a recommendation from a friend. We received confirmation yesterday that we will secure the funding we need to keep everyone employed at our business.
