    These dealership is awesome. This review is for the service department. On my way home from Charleston, S.C., my truck's rear differential crapped. 8 hrs from home. I had it towed to the dealer. Wendy, the service writer, had the techs get my truck right in and had a diagnostic and estimate before I could even leave. Over the weekend they track down a rebuilt rear with a great warranty. Then they came in under estimate. They really took great care of me and my truck. I can't thank Wendy, the tech who did the repairs, and everyone else enough. I wish you guys were closer, you won my business and respect. So far from home they could have taken advantage of the situation, but instead made it a great experience. Thank you so much. Oh yeah, thanks for the cookies.

    This was by far the best vehicle purchasing experience I have ever had, from arrival to departure. Miss Ada, she was phenomenal and a joy to work with. She was very customer-service-oriented, and detailed in explaining the inner and outer workings of the vehicle. She was also patient with answering my questions. I never felt pressured to purchase my vehicle. Lumberton Chevrolet is very fortunate to have Miss Ada on their team. Her professionalism by far exceeds the standard of many seasoned Salesman/Saleswomen that I have met over the years when purchasing a vehicle.     Upon arriving at the dealer salesman Noah Davis came up and greeted me. I went to the dealer to look at one particular vehicle but Noah took the time to show me other vehicles I had questions on. He was very helpful throughout my visit and didn’t pressure me on anything. I returned the following day and purchased the vehicle, Noah came in on his day off to close the deal with me. If I was able to I would definitely rate Noah a 10+++ and the dealer

    On Monday 20 June 2022, while traveling on I 95 South, our 2021 Tahoe High Sierra, started making loud engine noises and flashed warning lights. On Star advised we had a problem and needed to get to a dealer. Fortunately we were about six miles from Lumberton Chevrolet and arrived there about 1500 (3PM). Explained the situation to Jim Pate, the service advisor and he got the vehicle in for trouble shooting. Within an hour they determined a lifter had failed and while under warranty, repair would take until about noon the next day. I was traveling with my wife and two rescue dogs and needed overnight accommodations. We made reservations and James, took a vehicle , helped unload our required stuff from the Tahoe and drove us to the motel. He provided commentary on local food within range and helped transfer luggage, dogs, etal to our room. Repairs were completed the next morning, about two hours earlier then anticipated. James returned to pick us up, loaded our stuff and dogs into his vehicle, returned us to the dealership and helped us get everything reloaded in the Tahoe. I cannot express how much we appreciate the help from James, Jim Pate, and the staff at Lumberton. It was a stressful situation but their assistance and professionalism, helped us through. Thank you to Jim and his staff for the repairs and explanation of what happened and what was done.

    Being new to town I wasn't sure about finding a great dealer I can trust my car too. Right from the first phone call to the service dept. They were very understanding and took the time to make sure I was able to get my truck appt in with having the available parts there. When I got there it was easy and they walked me through everything they have to do. When something more came up they took the time to explain everything. Even with all the other customers they were attending too..I noticed they took the time with each one. There are no hidden costs there. When they give you a price they stick to it and let you know if something has to be added to the job.

    They are the worst dealership I've ever visited, I had an appointment with the lube center and when I got there they told me it would be another 45 minutes. I tried to find the dealership MGR and I never found him, but I spoke with the sales MGR and told him what happened. NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME! UPDATE: I'm updating from a 1-star to a 4-star, the owner reached out to me (Thank You) an assured me he fixed the problems, I have not returned to the lube center to verify. The body shop did a excellent job fixing my truck, the Manager is the most helpful in the whole dealership, he treated me with the up most respect and addressed all my concerns. Great Job!!

    My car broke down on I-95 at exit 7, while returning to Ft. Lauderdale from a Northeast vacation. We had the vehicle towed to you as it was the closest Chevy dealer and we are extremely satisfied with our decision. The had the repairs completed in two days and kept me informed throughout the process, addressing additional concerns, as they knew the remaining trip I had.

    I am not pleased with my experience at Lumberton GMC. I was charged a diagnostic fee. Ince the diagnostic test was over I did not know anymore than I did prior to my SUV being pulled in. When I reminded the service lady that my SUV had stopped which is why it was pulled in she commented that I would need to pay for another diagnostic testing. My concern is why should I pay for a second diagnosis when you have not given me the results for why my SUV stopped. I saw this experience as a company trying to take advantage of a situation that would financially benefit the company and certainly did not benefit myself as the customer. Because, of my experience, I have removed my SUV from this company. I have supported this company over the years. However, I will no longer support this company for servicing my vehicles.     Made appt 2 weeks prior for 8 a.m. for oul change and tire rotation...arrived at 7:46. Ist customer in. The 2 customer's after me were pulled n ahead of me. They were not waiting as I was. Pulled my truck n at 8:26 a.m. finished at 8:47. I ask were my tires rotated she advised no..they r dry rotten. Why couldnt u tell me this while my truck was still on lift. U need to sign a paper if u still would like them rotated. I said ok no problem..b 40 minute to wait. I said no I have to b at work. If the truck had been left on lift it would not had taken that long. Was not given an option until the service was finished. Over the 10 year the longest I have ever waited was 40 minutes including arrival and leaving..and this was after 4:00 pm. Have been going to this dealership 10 years AND HAVE NEVER NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!

    Whoever did the cleanup of my vehicle should have just left it like it was they made a mess of it looked like they had taken a dirty rag and wiped it down. It wasn't clean when I had taken it there but if they were gonna leave in a mess they shouldn't have started it to my understanding it was supposed to be a new part that was being replaced but it wasn't new parts and you can clearly tell that some kind of filler was used. Overall would not carry any business back to them. But the staff was kind and friendly.

    Didn’t solve the problem at all. Just tried to delete the code out the system and the check engine light came on again two days later. Engine and transmission and fuel pump problem going on but the dealership is ignoring it. This is a 2021 vehicle. No check engine light or light of any sort should be on after 9 days of purchase of a new vehicle. It needs to be fixed. So unacceptable. Not good for business.

    Lumberton Chevrolet Buick GM Service dept is great! We were on our way home from vacation when our truck kept cutting off. The Service Department diagnosed our problem quickly, serviced our vehicle within an hour or less & put us safely back on the road. This was a BLESSING as we were 7 hours away from home!!     The work was done in a timely manner, according to the amount of time specified initially. However, it was not completed in the sense that a stripe was to be put on the repaired door and back passenger side of vehicle. I understand that a "kit" was ordered and I will be informed when it comes in so the remaining stripe will either be painted on, or taped on--if it cannot be be painted on. It has been one week and I have not heard anything from the repair shop. It is also up in the air as to how long they will have the vehicle for this minor completion. When and if that is done, it will be a job well done. In addition, there are two nicks on each side of the downward door separators (between the front and back doors) on both sides. They were not there when the vehicle was taken in. A little bit of black touch up paint would take care of that. A better evaluation can be done when these two items are taken care of. A better rating can be given also.

    Miss Judy was very pleasant and helpful. We were in an accident and had no clue as to who to call for towing assistance. Miss Judy was helpful in helping us to find resources to have our vehicle towed to the collision center. We'd never been in an accident before, so we needed all the help we could get. From start to finish, our experience with Lumberton Chevrolet was a great one. Sorry we had to meet on these terms, but I'm glad we had a pleasant person to guide us.     This is the most honest review I can make for this collision center. First, the people who work there are fantastic. They are kind, and they really want to get the job done correctly. The collision center manager, Donald, worked really hard to get everything right with my car that was brought in on November 15, 2021, for a repair following hitting a deer. Now for all of the problems, though. Initially, the car needed materials for a 2020 Hyundai Tuscon Ultimate. This included some of the more pricey items on the vehicle. I am not sure exactly where every breakdown was, however, both Lumberton Chevrolet and Lee Hyundai in Fayetteville (where I bought the car, mind you) both share the responsibility. Lumberton Chevrolet certainly put in an order for an incorrect part, but Lee Hyundai, having sold and serviced the car multiple times, should have caught it. After all, Lumberton Chevrolet did send them the VIN. That being said, I should have taken possession of my car on December 10. On the afternoon of December 9, I called the Lumberton Chevrolet to discover that a wrong part had been ordered and it would be another week. At this point, no one had contacted me, and all documents with the insurance company showed a promise date of December 10. The fact that I had not received any communication is what bothered me the most. The following week, on December 16, I was able to go pick up my vehicle, only to discover that the incorrect headlight had been ordered and installed in my car. This is a problem because of the electronic systems in the car and rendered it not driveable. This pushed the promise date back another week. On December 23, I was able to finally pick up my car; however, on December 24, I realized that the molding on the driver's side door was bulging in the middle. I brought the car back in on Monday, December 27, to discover that in the process of repairing my car, the clips for the molding were broken, which necessitated ordering another part. I was able to finally get the car fixed on December 30. So the positives: 1. The staff at this location is very friendly. Donald, the manager, will work hard to make sure everything is right. 2. When it was discovered that the headlight was wrong, Lumberton Chevrolet worked hard to make sure I was able to get to work, given that the rental I was driving would need to be returned. 3. They did a spectacular job on the body of the car, which was damaged with not only dents, but also holes in the front driver's side. The negatives: 1. The wrong item was ordered for the car not once, but twice. This delayed taking possession of the car by two weeks. 2. After the wrong headlight was installed, someone took the car to be aligned at Black's Tire. As soon as they started the car to drive it, the dashboard would have lit up like the 4th of July. That was the indicator I got when I started the car. They should have never tried to let me pick up the car on December 16, because someone would have known that it was not right. 3. They were the ones who broke the molding on the car, yet they still charged an additional $100 to my insurance company for the part and installation. The question is, would I return? If I were given the same choices that State Farm gave me again, I would still return. Although there were multiple headaches, I feel like the dealership did a good job with the repairs to my car. My only caveat to anyone uses this collision repair shop is to make certain that you stay on top of everything.

    Lumberton Chevrolet's Technicians and Staff are efficient, knowledgeable, thorough, and fast! I was in and out in well under an hour. I was shown the concerns found with my vehicle prior to repair and given best advice on how to proceed. Each staff member was well versed in their area of expertise and extremely polite and helpful. I left feeling very confident in the service provided today, with the decision made for what service my vehicle needs upcoming, and that I would remain safe while operating my vehicle still.     The service I received was above and beyond! Ms. Ada had the best customer service. And she works with a great team. I can’t remember everyone’s name but if you are in need of a new car stop by to see them. It was worth the drive. She made my family feel comfortable and even had toys for children.     Had to wait 40 minutes for a 8:00am appointment. You were supposed to change the oil and rotate my tires. I hope you changed the oil, but you didn’t rotate the tires! The receptionist is they didn’t have the key to unlock the lug nuts. The key was in the cab of my truck, all they had to do was ask me for it! Should a company offering this type service have a key for the lugs? I’ll never go back to Lumberton Chevy for anything,too many good companies to choose .

    Horrible experience, I will never purchase another vehicle from this establishment. You would think that for as much as I paid for my vehicle, they would have at least got my registration and tags switched over properly. I literally drove around 3 weeks without knowing that my tags still showed my old vehicle information. I found out when I went to the license plate agency inquiring about my registration, at that time I was told that the dealership should have provided me with a temporary registration when I purchased the vehicle, so that the tags could have been transferred…which they didn’t. I had to get a whole new tag because they let everything expire. Lies!!! I called you guys after I left the license plate agency. When I called your dealership the lady said she didn’t have time to file everything. That she was sending me a temporary tag and apologized. Please don’t make me get a statement from the license plate agency, stating your negligence…because this could really get ugly.

    This review is for zero department. The service advisor Jim set my appointment up and then when the car gets dropped off he wasn’t around. when I called in he doesn’t remember me at all talking to him. He’s asking me did I drop the car off , yes I said at the appointment that we talked about. I get better customer service at AutoZone that I did at this dealership. I felt like just a number that they put in the window of a car for the technician and nothing else . I’ called another GM dealer in Fayetteville they made me feel like they really wanna do business with me so Monday I’m taking my car to them

    Went to go buy a new battery, Parts department tried to sell me a 11 month old used battery for full retail of a new battery. Totally unacceptable service. Also the person at the parts desk didn't even know to read a battery manufacturer date on the battery which i had to show him how to read it properly.

    After very poor customer service at two other Chevy dealers I called Lumberton Chevrolet. Their staff was extremely helpful in getting warranty work done on my truck. My parts were not in stock but they found what I needed at another dealer and had the parts shipped quickly to them. Very pleased with the service and the outcome of the repair.

    I encountered water stains on my headliner. I took my Chevrolet to Lumberton Chevrolet who found I had dents on my roof from a tree falling on it during an ice storm in January. They informed me of the dents when another dealer failed to locate the dents and the cause of the water leak. I feel Lumberton Chevrolet went beyond just trying to locate the water leak and then discovering dents in my roof.

    First of all, I could have purchased my vehicle from any of the surrounding dealerships. What sold me on my experience at this dealership. As soon as I got out of my vehicle; I was greeted almost immediately by one of the representatives. They introduced me to Mr Nolan. He was very polite & professional. He was very knowledgeable & able to answer all of my questions. All of the ones he was not too sure about (on the financial side) he was able to bring someone who could provide the answers.     I had been looking for a Toyota Tacoma or a Nissan Frontier for a few months, as I had wanted a mid size truck. We went to several dealerships in the area, and had no luck finding what I was looking for. My wife saw a GMC dealership in Fayetteville, NC, and said let's take a look. Hesitantly, I agreed. We first saw the Canyon Elevation there, and proceeded to talk to a salesman. He was short and kinda rude about answering our questions, preferring to just sell us a vehicle. My wife put an end to the process immediately. Frustrated after spending hours without any luck, we headed back to Lumberton. I called Lumberton Chevrolet and was told they had both a Canyon Elevation and a Colorado on site. Upon arrival, Mr. Earl Biddy greeted us on the lot and politely answered our questions and retrieved the keys to one of the vehicles and let us take a short test drive. Wanting some time to think about making a purchase, I gave Mr. Biddy my information, asking him if he could come up with some payment information before I returned the following day. Upon arrival, he had everything I asked for at the ready. All I had to do was decide between the two vehicles, already knowing what my payment would be. We soon decided to purchase the Canyon. I could not be happier with Mr. Biddy. He was courteous and very knowledgeable and made my wife and me feel extremely comfortable during the entire process. He's quite the gentleman. I don't want to fail to mention the signing process, either. It was painless! I couldn't be happier with the folks at Lumberton Chevrolet.

    I was having trouble with a low tire pressure issue. I put air in it a few days later the same thibg. Took ot somewhere else closer to home and they said they would re-set the tires, so they deflate the tires and filled them up again.. welk a few days later the front driver said 28% low tire pressure so.. i took it to Lumberton Cadillac which i should have done all along. Im on the 4th day and the tires are great. They told me it was the rear tires all along.. And it gets better i was not charged because the nice man told me the air was free.. Thanks to everyone at the Lumberton, NC Cadillac I had great customer service from the beginning all the way to the end.. Happy Blessed New Year!

    Fast service, got me in as soon as I walked in to check in. The customer service was efficient & friendly. The prices were reasonable; I even got a slight discount. The waiting area was perfectly situated for social distancing. The let me know anything they found wrong; which was due to a plug in my tire they refused to rotate that side & not put that tire on the front. I was completely satisfied with my visit & will continue to be a loyal Lumberton Chevrolet customer!

    I went with one star, only because I could not review Lumberton Chevy any lower. I took my truck to the dealership on September 6, 2021. I called on September 8, 2021 to check in because I used the drop off service. The service department told me that Wednesday that a technician was looking at my truck. On Friday I call back to ask about the findings by the technician. The service department tells me that they were short staff and had not had a chance to look at my truck. (Not what I was told that Wednesday.) So I wait until the following week and call that Tuesday, same message. I call back that Thursday same message. On Monday September 20, 2021 nearly two after dropping it off I call and they tell me that they were short staff. I decided that at that point I needed to get it and take it somewhere else. The service department tells me that I needed to be there before 5:30 to pick it up because the gate would be locked. After rushing to Lumberton Chevy to avoid my truck being locked in the gate that night, I find my truck in the side parking lot in the exact spot I dropped it off. With all that said this is not a place I plan to do business again. Lack of communication, lies and generic responses equals less than ONE star.
