We needed a loan to fund about half of our pool project. We actually approached another company that was pretty rude at first person contact (name is a 3 letter acronym starts with H), so we dismissed them as an option. We did the online application for Lyon, and from our first contact they made it all SO EASY! I have a job that keeps me really busy all day, and the ability to upload documents online, the emails detailing what we need to do next, etc were all great to keep me on track during my mini breaks instead of playing lots of phone tag (though they did call me when a form was a little late, my fault lol). They also kept us in the loop on when payments were issued so we knew where the account stood. Our pool company never pushed us to one company specifically, but later did say they prefer to work with Lyon because they're professional and issue payments timely. My only complaint is that we have great credit well over 800 and good income, but our interest rate was still higher than I wanted. Since we had a smaller loan, I guess that's average, confirmed online and by what the other company said before we dismissed them. So all in all, I would really recommend Lyon for your pool projects!

I am so pleased with the service I received from Jessie Wood! If it was not for Jessie I would not be continuing with my Pool Loan/Project. Just to be short my gas line was in the way of my Spa, so I needed to reroute my gas line. My pool company quoted me $2900 from their Plumber. At this point I was out because now I'm way over my budget at this point. I called LYONS to cancel and the following evening Super Woman (Jessie) came to the rescue informing me to check with my local gas company FIRST, and then she had other options for me if that did not work. Well surely my gas company quoted me $350 flat fee for the reroute. WOW!! Just amazing and very surprising!! If Jessie's boss is reading this know this please, Jessie is VERY thorough, She is bubbly and really easy to talk to, she finds solutions obviously when desperately needed, she's so so sweet, AND of course I'm SUPER HAPPY and at the end of the day thats what matters in this line of business. We financed a pool through them. We weren't sure how much to ask for because we were still in the middle of taking bids. It turns out that we needed a little more than we asked for. It was no problem. I called them and explained and within a few hours, it was approved. I know you're thinking that we must have 800+ credit but we do not. We have good credit but not excellent. They pay the builder in stages. I would send them a picture at 6pm letting them know we completed a stage. A few hours later, I would have the authorization to release funds to sign. They're on the East coast and I'm on the West so I'm not sure how they pulled that off. Within 30 hours of sending the original picture, they were in the process of paying my builder. My last stage was done on a Sunday night. I was expecting them to get it Monday morning. I finalized everything on Sunday night. Anytime I had a question, I could email and receive a response within 24 hours. If I called during their business hours, someone was always available to help me even if it wasn't my original loan officer. I really hope they pay the loan officers well. They certainly deserve it. Thanks! I love my new pool!

The builder would let me know when it was time for a payment, I would email Lyon a couple pics of the progress and request for payment, sign an e-form, and then they sent the builder the payment almost immediately. It was as painless as the process can possibly be made and I have recommended them several times since our pool was finished a couple months ago.
