Been there twice, first time for small loan to cover moving expenses second time large loan bought car without dealing with banks. The interest rate is high but no collateral loan.

Not worth building a relationship with this lender as it will be of no use. The customer representative didnt seem to be eager to go the extra mile to help us. Disappointing! Won't be doing business there anymore.

Had appointment at 5 came in 15 min later after working from 4 am to 12 and told them this can in and still had to Waite at 515 she came in and said she had to finish another customer and I told her I been at work all day and had a Schedule appointment and she ask me to reschedule after comes way out there for nothin poor communication skills high rates business look cheap in step like a H&R Block will not be doing no further business with them

Terrible place, they lie about how much the total cost of the loan will be, they church it up and have you sign 30 pieces of paper and then still don’t tell you the cost of the loan. All they ever showed me was the amount I was borrowing. Then their response was “well no one made you get the loan” can’t follow simple directions and very rude. Go to a real bank not these thieves

I was treated very well and felt respected and that they really wanted to help in any way that they could. They were very helpful.

The highest fees and interest rate I have ever paid. I would recommend reporting them to the CFPB for predatory lending practices. I wanted to get an early start on a kitchen remodel before getting some funds from a property we sold. After the most extensive credit application process of my life I went to sign my docs to then find out about an origination fee which I was originally told there was not one. After already going through all the B/S I figured I would just sign and move on rather than starting a new loan process over for funds I only needed for a month. Check with local credit unions or peer lending networks first, I would not recommend OneMain unless its your very last resort. I will continue to do my business with credit unions moving forward. Just FYI- OneMain stated 27% recently checked rates at Veridian with same credit score of 700+ 8.99%

I was referred through Credit Karma to One Main for a personal loan I was pre approved for the loan on One Main web site. I had submitted all my personal information for the loan. I was also told someone will contact me to verify my information. Today this morning a employee called to do a new credit application even through I was pre approved. After the process I asked how long will it take to get a word back. He “employee”replied a hour. And I asked why was all this information needed sense your company has already approved me. “why the questions like it a new credit application” The employee replied in a Hesitating manner, that we just ask questions to support the loan. Not a decision factor sense you were already pre approved. I was like ok. 3 hours later I call One Main back to checkout why no call back in a hour like the Rep said he would also I was concerned about the loan. Same guy answered the phone and after saying my name incorrectly twice. I was informed that my loan was denied because I’m self employed?! Even though my credit score qualifies me for the loan and my personal information provided. Very disappointing. I feel One Main miss leading people with their intention. If not. They should have stated in front that One Main doesn’t grant loans to self employment customers. And or you need a W2 from a previous year. Thats not true for a self employmed person. Banks, lending Institutes require less as long as your information checks out. Bank statement and references. And other lenders give loans every day. I feel lied too by One Main they had no intention to loan me money they just wanted my information to sell for profit.
