This was my first time coming here and the gentleman that helped me was super friendly, attentive, helpful and got me in and out the door. He answered every question I had and explained it with patience and detail which I really appreciated. The whole experience was fast and easy and I got a great price on selling some jewelry I no longer wanted. I definitely will be back! Highly recommend!

Out of all the pawn shops around these guy's have always given me the highest prices and or helped me out when I was in a tight bind. I dont feel scammed after I leave there AND they bought a few items from me that other pawn shops weren't interested in.

I started going here for watch batteries. Then found out when they completely remade my wedding ring, which had lost a couple stones and the gold was so worn down what an excellent jeweler he was. Just recently my husband had him make a custom pendant for me. It was absolutely beautiful. Their cost for jewelry is unbelievable. I would highly recommend them.

Nice, but you you better know the value of your jewelry before going. Tried to tell me 14k and 24k was base metal. Tried to tell me silver half dollars were only 30% silver instead of 90%. (I was right.) But I guess that's the nature of the beast to be pawn broker.

I've lost some loans at RJ and they waited for months and months almost a year. I just could not come with the money to pick it up. I can't stop them from doing their business. They are very fair and will wait for you. Just be straight forward and keep your word when you say the date that you are coming. If you don't show up it is on you. I highly recommend them.

I had a great experience here I was looking for a pawn shop to review in the area and came across this location in Bloomingdale. The shop doesn’t look open from the outside so that’s something you can look into. Because I always used to drive pass thinking that the place was closed down until I did a Google search and saw they were open for business. I checked them out on a Sunday which was convenient for me since most other shops are closed that day along with the banks. I usually don’t go into pawn shops but as I was cleaning my storage I came across several items I wanted to get rid of but not junk or trash them because they had some value. So that’s what lead me to this wonderful shop and thanks for giving me a great value for my items

I came here to have two 30 year old heirloom wedding bands sized & I needed them quickly ! I paid about $55 for both (one sized 3 sizes up and one sized down) and they were done within an hour. They looked great. One ring was a little small so I called to see if they could fix it & I brought it in that same day. The jeweler fixed it literally in seconds & it fit perfectly. Thank you. What a wonderful experience! I was looking for a place that would resize a ring for me and preferably do it same day. I was NOT disappointed. It only took 30 minutes and it doesn't even look like it was sized. They also kept the integrity of the band in check so it wasn't stretched out and thin. I have been doing business with RJ Jewelry & Loan Co. for over 12 years. I have always found the staff to be focused and professional. I have always felt that I was treated fairly and they always provided excellent service. If I was looking to pawn items they always provided me the best price on the item and they treated me in a professional manner. Those times that I was late with a payment they always provided me options to repay the load. If the loan payment exceeded 30 days they always prorated the additional amount owed on the item and never charged me a full months fee for just going past the initial 30 days. The staff has excellent emotional intelligence skills and I have always found it a pleasure to work with them.

Drove 1+hour to visit shop based on positive reviews. Owner was not there in the middle of the day when the store was open. We were told to come back and that we could not look at any jewelery as it was in the basement safe. The store was messy and poorly merchandised. The individual behind the counter could not provide any clear information on return time or when business could be conducted.... waste of time to visit!

been doing business here for 5 years unfortunately thats has to come to an end they sold my engagement ring after me coming in numerous of times to reassure them i am coming for it i was told they still had it when in reality it was sold months ago im sick im hurt ill never do business here again ever!!! & im not sure if they even sold it or lost it he check the safe went to the bank to check the vault then checked the store im sure if the item was sold it should show in their system sold receipt so idk what kind of games these guys are playing but i dnt recommend you do business with these guys store unorganized cluttered maybe lost who knows but i do know im suffering because of it i spent $4500 cash just for a $250 loan now look at my loss heart breaking truly
