Place is a joke I try to sell my Xbox with games and controller...they said the games needs to be in original cases which I don't have I bought the games as is else where so tell me why pawn shop won't buy AND WHY DO THEY CALL THEM SELVES A PAWN SHOP IF THEY DONT BUY STUFF FROM OTHER PEOPLE THAT IS JUST SAD OF A PAWN SHOP

Had a wonderful experience. Just moved to the area so wasn’t sure what was to be expected especially in the pandemic. They are still finding ways to service their customers in all of this mess. Staff is friendly and as helpful as could be, I bought a laptop and even after taking it home, I was able to contact them early this morning for questions and they responded in such a friendly and professional manner. Only pawn shop I use. Always there when I need them. Been going here for years, staff is always nice. And a personal thought, years ago I got in an accident nearby and the nice lady from the pawn shop was the first one to run out and check on me and help. Richies pawn shop is definitely a great business to have in town.

Here we are six months later. I’m changing my rating to one star. Went in yesterday to pay on my two pawns and also pay one off. The young girl at the desk tried to tell me I was a month behind on the payment for both. When I didn’t believe her and questioned her she got angry. She did give me a print out to prove to me that their “system” showed I was behind. This young lady acted like I had personally insulted her. So, I left because it was obvious I was not going to get to the bottom of the situation with an angry overly dramatic clerk, and I definitely was not paying for a month I had not missed. Ironically, I called at nine yesterday morning to find out the exact amount I would need to get both my pistols, which is what I had with me when I went to pay one possibly both off. But, strangely, the amount changed when I got in the store. So, I went home to gather bank statements to show I have been paying faithfully since April. However, while I was highlighting “Richie’s Pawn and Gun” on my bank statements, I realized it wasn’t worth my time. The effort and time to try to prove my position to these folks would’ve added to the drama and would most likely not be a successful venture. I can buy two pistols at High Caliber or Finish Line, or literally any place in the state of Mississippi. This would be a monumental waste of my time and money. I have decided that I am not giving my money to these folks now or ever again. All the best to ya, but ya lost my business for the foreseeable future. Be careful, folks. Make sure it’s worth your time. If it’s not, save your money or go someplace where the people don’t act like you’ve slighted them or personally insulted them when you question their “system.” This is from six months ago: Great people great place! These folks are always fair and nice to me. They have gone well above par to make sure I stay current with them and don’t lose my pawned items when we do business. They always have a great selection and can get you what you’re looking for. Whatever you need or want these folks will help you. I will always be a customer.

Amazing family owned pawn! Sold us just what my husband wanted and was so helpful. They were even patient with my husband when he had to get another firearm background application after writing so big, lol. If you have any gun or pawn needs I highly recommend Richie’s.

I let Richies pawn take care of any items I purchase that require a FFL. They call immediately when they receive your item so you can pick it up as fast as possible, which is awesome! Very friendly folks that are willing to help you in any way. I highly recommend doing business with them.

Richie's Pawn Shop has helped me out more times than I can count. They will work with you on a pawn as long as you stay in touch with them & get your stuff out. I've never had an issue. Yeah, there have been some things they weren't able to take on a pawn but I get it. They need to be able to resell items if it comes down to it. This place is an absolute joke. Didn't even look at what I had, just turned me down instantly. Please tell me where the rust is. Also point out the water damage. There was ****ONE**** case that had water damage, and that's one out of at least 100. So no, you did not look through my merchandise. You looked at ONE item.

This store gives the kind of service you cannot get from the online stores. A friendly hometown atmosphere and good prices. Been shopping here for many years for tools, audio and ammo. They are a great place to layaway shop. During the Ammo shortage, they kept their prices competitive. This store is worth the drive if your not located in Picayune.

I have been a customer at Richie's Pawn Shop for over 2 years. Everytime I needed help, they were very helpful,, kind, and considerate.Just about everytime I pass Richie's Pawn Shop, I pull in to see what new items are available. I have bought so many items that I wanted, or needed, while I was in there just looking around .The prices are always low, and reasonable . Anytime I needed some cash, I have pawned personal items . I have always gotten them out. They are alealw willing to work with me, and are extremely fair. Everyone who works there is kind, and helpful. I will always shop there because of how I have been treated. It is a family atmosphere everytime I walk through the door. I want to thank everyone for caring about the customer.

Products (appliances) aren’t sufficiently tested before being sold. And when it is an obvious failure on their part (one day after purchase the item is rendered useless) instead of trying to work with the customer —they quickly spew forth “did you get an extended warranty?” Which is comical if it wasn’t so expensive to learn this lesson in customer deception. So if you want to purchase anything from here, buy the warranty because there is a big chance they didn’t properly test their items for resale. It’s a shame they enjoy selling people defective merchandise, judging from the enthusiasm of their reply. Just a helpful tip...Maybe when you are working with the customer you can inform them there is an 80% chance it will not work so buy the warranty! Then everyone will be happy. Merry Christmas.

I was looking for a TV for my sons room and walked out with two, one a 20" and one a 40", both in excellent condition, for less than 150$. The staff was so polite and kind, and I will definitely be going back.

I stopped in at riches to look for a wedding ring for my husband. I didn't know exactly what his ring size was so Eric helped us determine the size. He was so helpful and friendly. My husband and I used to come in once a week when we lived in picayune. We will definitely be coming back whenever we are in town. Definitely best place to get loans or buy cheap DVDs. Just an all around great place!!!
