Applied for a car loan, took me calling them 3 times to finally get back to me. And when they did, they told me I wasn't approved and didn't even bother to work with me. If they would have given me the chance to talk, I would have told them that I have a cosigner and could put a pretty decent payment down. Very disappointed in this company. Not only is this false advertising, but it was pure disrespect.

During the pandemic times have been hard, making it worse was this company not helping or offering any assistance stating it was because they couldn’t say they had assistance for people affected by the pandemic on voicemail. They can leave all other information but not we are here to help. Now as a single mother I don’t have my car anymore and still somehow owe almost as much as the car was worth when I purchased it despite having it a year and it selling for almost 2000. Disappointing should have known when they said they wouldn’t loan to me unless I removed my negative review I didn’t know I made.

I have been in good hands while doing business threw United finance in Salem. I was just there recently picking up another loan to pay off a credit card. Great professional and friendly group of people to work with. I give them a A+

Only company around that does not offer any type of covid 19 assistance. Would not recommend to anyone Update* Yes they contacted me to question me about this review. Only thing I was offered was "legal issues" due to being behind or to refinance my loan. But that's not an option. I'm behind on a few things due to losing work and my credit has taken a hit. So I would not qualify for refinancing. And they are still charging late fees during this unprecedented time. So because we are in a pandemic and I am unable to pay they are charging me. I am only 1 payment behind. This is a horrible company and I will never do business with them.

I have come here 3 times now. The first time they financed me buying a car, the second and third time was to fix both my cars. They are very honest and will work with you if ever need be. They will brain storm to make everything correct and make sure the customer is satisfied. If ever in need of a loan fit smh worth while purpose or financing for a new car, this is the place to be.

Great atmosphere. Very quick. Yes interest could seem high but it is a great gateway to build or repair credit. I ised tbem to build my credit when i was 18 and it worked perfect. Call and ask the questions you might have. Loren and Delia are great to work with.

Great company to work with for a loan. They are always nice and straightforward with the loan options. I will always go through them if I need any sort of loan. Very respectful and will work with you every way possible.

United Finance has been a huge help to me with Financing my car and helping me with extra bills as they have come unexpectedly. The Salem Office has been so personable and i greatly appreciate all there help and would recommend them highly!!

They helped me out in time of need when I had troubles everywhere else I would recommend these people your professional they even waited till I got there before they closed they were willing to wait for me that says a lot about their integrity Stars

UF has helped me obtain my last 2 vehicles. In my late teens and early 20s I didn't make the best choices and am paying for it at 30. UF helps folks who don't have the best circumstances, rates are high but when you are considered "high risk" what do you expect 🤷 .... I recently had to apply for additional $$ due to this COVID19 mess having my husband out of work. They got me in and got me the funds quickly and safely. Try UF if you have low credit but make decent pay ..... I've never been late or missed a payment so I'm not sure how they are about that stuff but if you are reliable they seem to be great folks to work with 👍 -C.Sana

I am tired of Delia calling and harassing me! She says I haven’t paid my payment! I have my bank account to prove that I have done some payment! I made arrangements to pay the rest! She says there are no notes on my account! Maybe everyone who works in this office needs to do their job and make notes of arrangements when they are made. She begins to laugh at me and I ask for a manager! Same as always I am told he is unavailable! Being disrespectful is no way to treat a customer! You really need to learn to have better customer service skills! This is our second loan with this finance company and it will be the last! You can thank your customer service rep!

This was an excellent experience! The process is easy and the staff is friendly especially Loren. He is extremely knowledgeable and personable, warm and friendly. This is the only place I would go for any of my financial needs. Do not go to a pay day loan place, go to United Finance, ask for Loren you won’t be sorry!!

My experience with them has been wonderful. They have provided me with excellent customer service, as well helping my boyfriend and I with great options with our car and loan. I recommend this business to whomever is need of services such as they provide. They are all great.

Just payed off a loan, and upon attempting to pay it off I was asked, “why” Why does it matter? I just want my pay off because I want to pay it off? highly recommend paying it off ASAP. Was asked if I wanted to take out another loan, decided not too, because I was in transition and shifting finances around etc, finally decided why not, the last one is still sitting in my saving, and was told my debt to income is too high. Poor customer service from their front desk secretaries call from blocked numbers, and I have found that they are extremely rude. Lauren is great, but that’s about the only person I have interacted with outside of the receptionists. *update* Lauren has reached out and remedied the situation. Lauren is a real class act, and what is sorely missing now a days in many businesses.

Brent was great to work with and made the whole process very easy for me. Definitely recommend if needing financial help!! Thanks again!!
